On one hand we have pushing upwards using persistence and willpower, on the other playing along, dancing to the tune of heaven on the path of life.

I guess Yi is saying that you will get what you want (46.1), the wishes will be fulfilled (if they are sincere and the will is strong and unswerving, 11.2, 36.3), but then (24.4) the realization will come that playing along is more fun.
Meeting the unexpected with open heart (51.5), trusting the universe (17.6), listening to inner guide is better?

Or is it saying - after reaching your goals you will return to the natural state of innocence?
Get out of the situation you are in by applying the willpower, and become happy again.

When all six lines are changing, I don't bother reading the individual lines.
The situation that the first hexagram describes, is completely overturned, in all points.

In this case, the situation of trying to get over something (46) will be
completely transformed into something natural (25). So all in all I'd say
your activities will completely help you overcome something and feel nice
and fresh. Sounds good to me!

I agree wholeheartedly that when all sux lines change especially in hex 46 - it is as if you are literally pushed up to hex 25 - like a beautiful cactus flower.
In my experience of this casting is that whatever pushes you upwards or forwards carries you to something beautiful ..

Hi Ashteroid,

it sounds to me as if you think and envision yourself apart from the LoA and having quite a bit of a business-oriented mind. You see, exploring LoA with that attitude will not work unless Innocence is part of it. Innocence is a must in order to put How You Feel (a core teaching of LoA) as the center of your attention instead of how much or what will I get.
LoA is much more than repeating often or fantasise something in order to receive it. It is primarily Getting Out of Your Own Way, explore the connection with Who-You-Really-Are, aligning with your Source, recognising and welcoming the contrasts in your life and much more.

Somehow I didn't get this point of view from Florence Scovel and Murphy's books. Sounds more like meditation to me.

Yi has perfectly captured my thoughts with that answer - I was interested in should one will his dreams into reality or just allow himself to be tossed here and there by the waves of life.
I know that being humble and accepting is ok, but can I have more fun? I do have a right to make my life better don't I?

I'm not greedy, just to move to a warm country would be nice. I don't want to rule other people and to have a ton of money .. no.

Would I interfere with my soul's plan or not .. somehow narrowing it down with my limited wishes.
I think that Yi encourages me to try it at least.
If it were a reverse reading 25 to 46, then I guess it would mean stay put, follow along and the ascent will subtly come.

no problem. It seems that there are variations of the LoA teachings, and of this I was not aware. I find LoA such a beautiful and precious teaching!
I think I did not understand the meaning of your question What will LoA, positive affirmations and visualization bring me? To me it sounded like: "If I desire, what will I get?"
English is not my mother-tongue so probably I'm not understanding something that to the anglophones is pretty obvious. So sorry for that.

Just to say that I felt very drawn to your thread yesterday ...
Just now I cast about how to deal with my son when he gets his exam results today

I got 25 to 46

So - this thread has been exceedingly helpful. Will let you know out one later today. It might help your dilemma. Neither he or I are particularly worried about the outcome (he is not particularly concerned) but it is nice thinking about how I should approach things anyway.

What a nice addition to this thread, a reverse reading with result.
So he innocently ascended to some [academic] height, without even realizing it.
And you also haven't worried/planned much about the result.

So 46-25 would mean - do work, do visualize and then 25 will come.
