Here is very good book(in my view) about Wen Wang Gua. It goes beyond the traditional concepts in the system, this is good, as the traditional view has a lot of limitations build into it.

This is better, although may need some knowledge of the Chinese calendars to use, as some people did say it may not be easy to get for beginners. I'm not sure I fully agree, I think with this and their other material in the open, it could work, yet to be responsible will just say it may be difficult to understand for people that aren't aware of branches, elements and other similar tools.

To summarize, if you are interested in styles beyond the text(specifically WWG/Liu Yao), and also beyond Mei Hua, this is info you will need at some point:

We talk about the book and their approach to WWG(and sometimes about other topics) it in the facegroup here:

If someone is interested in WWG in English, I can highly recommend AK course.

In my experience Chinese metaphysics today, is working in somewhat unexpected, at least for me way. There are traditional/classic approach to the systems(almost all of them, with few exceptions), that is usually what is known by most practitioners out there and it rarely works good. For WWG that is usually revolving around Wild Crane book or around a few other classic texts. They are very interesting and from time to time the approach there can even bring somewhat good results.
Then there are small schools or practitioners that have gone far beyond that, but their material rarely see the light, as its passed only in the school or the family of the practitioner.

I was always searching for a way to learn the systems on a lot higher level then what is in the classic texts. And when it comes to WWG, AK is finally providing an opportunity for that. However, there is so much info even only on the first level, that it may be difficult to get it from the book, if someone wants to learn more I can confidently point to the course, as a source that one wouldn't want to miss.

I understand that that may not be at its home here, however. We are talking about a higher level of a already complicated system, that involves all the stuff that is still not so familiar in the west, the 12 branches, the calendars, full use of the Images coming with the Trigrams and much more.

So I can't say everyone interested in Yi Jing will be able to find their way. But I'm happily saying if someone is interested in WWG and have some basic foundation(stems/branches and some knowledge of the calendar at least) the info in the course, in my humble opinion is as good as it can possible get for WWG.

This is an honest question, and not a challenge - what can you get from a psychic medium that you can't get using an oracle in your own?
