16.4.5>8

I am currently in a Master Tarot Class in between Modules 5 and 6 in a 7 Module Course. I've been making good progress up until this past week when I sprained my knee and have been sidelined with the pain. I've lost my momentum and am asking this question to hopefully somehow get back on the horse and ride this thing out.

I'm reading 16.4.5>8 as Enthusiasm Moving Towards Seeking Union.

I've gone about as far as I can go on my own, and see this as yijing saying to me, "Get some support from some of your yijing friends", which is what I'm now trying to do.

I feel like with the right encouragement, I can finish the tarot course and move on to the next step, which is reading for a fee.

I am currently a part of the online tarot community in my school doing readings pro bono for the experience, but I have not had the guts to get involved on a "chummy" basis with any of the other members. I feel inferior to them. I think I identify better with my yijing family, so that's where I think my support will ultimately come from.

I feel like if I have a plan to set a date for when I can start charging, that will give me the needed incentive to finish the course.

Any help with the reading as it pertains to this situation would be greatly appreciated.

Namaste.

I don't think it's so much a matter of a specific date but how to 16.4 attract clients, and that will come as your own Enthusiasm / Confidence builds. I started my career as a reader by first simply reading for my friends and then sitting on a bench in the park reading for any interested strangers. Although my attitude was one of simply enjoying sharing the wisdom of the tarot, people would often want to tip me. I had cards made up with my phone and email address - "Readings by Rosada" - which gave me an aura of legitimacy so I could then say, "For a more complete reading call me and we can set up an appointment."
I think 16.5 may be alerting you that you may have do a lot of isolated readings before you connect with people who want to come see you on a regular basis.

I hope to soon be able to do on the spot readings, just not quite there yet.

I hope to soon be able to do on the spot readings, just not quite there yet. This could be the reason for the Obstruction or Obstacle of the Nuclear 39.

This could also be the answer to my original question. ie. I'll be able to charge for my services once I am confident enough to do a reading totally intuitively without my notes or a book.

Thank you, Yi !!!

I just ordered 25 cards and am going to use them like you did when I get them. Thank you for the idea!

I sprained my knee and have been sidelined with the pain.
That looks like line 5.
It'll hurt for a while, but it won't kill you.
I have not had the guts to get involved on a "chummy" basis with any of the other members. I feel inferior to them.
Looks like Line 4... is addressing this feeling of hesitating due to uncertainty and doubt.
And it says essentially:
'That's poppycock, you will make friends in that group. '

Hex 8 says go join with them.

Take it easy with the knee.
You are fine.

I do think the reading is referencing your current condition (the injury and uncertainty)

I don't see it as especially a super sunny reading..

16.4 is to do with generating enthusiasm from others,, getting them in with your plan which isn't always a good thing, it's the basis of marketing too...but then you have line 5 where however much energy you put in it doesn't quite take off. I don't think that would be a failing of yours BTW but that there's billions of people trying to sell Tarot readings.

These could be alternatives like you do line 4 or you do line 5. There's the 8 asking you where you belong, what you're going to join and that is reflected in the yang pattern of 45.

Wondering why Tarot not Yi? I'd trust Yi over Tarot.

Actually I'd revise that - it looks more like if you don't do 16.4, that is generate lots of enthusiasm/marketing etc nothing really comes of it, 16.5. And actually I think this could apply to your own enthusiasm levels as much as anything external.
