Hmm so today I finally noticed a shirt that I like quite alot is missing. It's so weird I always notice things like this way later. Anyways I asked yi and she said 46.2.6>52 :p
please help me find it, more curious as to where it went than anything though.

In a dark space you used earlier this year. Have you checked behind the washer and dryer or the couch? It's just a bit out of reach. ;)

Could I ask about the process of doing your laundry? Do you do it?

I asked about the laundry procedure because the 42.2 gave me the idea somehow your laundry was mixed with someone else's against a background of hexagram 52 which would indicate to me that the shirt is just siitting somewhere not being used -- and then 42.6 might indicate that if and when you discover who confused this shirt with their belongings you will most like want to bap them on the head for not noticing and not returning it to you.

BTW I've lost stuff a number of times and found it via the Yi and feel like this is intended as a very clear answer and you will find this shirt if you follow the clues.

I am thinking maybe someone was trying it on, a friend, a guest, a person who was interested in it and it gotten thrown away to the side and perhaps sitting somewhere neglected, mixed with something you don`t really wear much?

That definately sounds like one of my sisters, theyre so careless at times i can just imagine one of them wearing it then leaving somewhere and not telling me where. Ugh! i bet its under my couch.. our place is pretty organized and clean, so that's the only place i can think of..

Do you have a sacred space in your home? If so, look in a closet or storage container near it.

Maybe your BF has it, in with his clothes.

Yes, I agree, this seems accurate -- the shirt is mixed in with someone's else's belongings. And the only way to find it is to be "passionate" about this project. Think of anybody who has had their clothes washed or lying about in your home recently and then look through -- piece by piece -- until you find the missing shirt. The shirt was very likely mixed in mistakenly and nobody is aware.

Hi, Megan:

Going to the begining, a literal translation of H.46 might say something like this:

RISING FIRST CELEBRATION
Have you thinked at the attic? If the shirt is there can celebrate.
But how could the shirt go there?

PROFITABLE TO SEE THE BIG MAN
Maybe only a wizzard can find it.

DON´T WORRY
If the shirt goes to return it will return for its own.
Stop thinking about it.

SOUTHERN TRIP LUCKY
Better take a walk under the sunny sky.
(Chinese received the sunlight from the south).

46.2

CATCH IT SO
Understand it from the following point of view

PROFITABLE TO DO A SACRIFICE
or also PROFITABLE TO DO A SPRINGTIME FEAST
say, resignate and/or go and enjoy a picnic

NO WRONG.
If the shirt will return, why not to enjoy now,
and if it will not why worry now?

46.6

DARK RISING
Rising in the darkness, not seeing where one is going.
To grow in the ignorance.

PROFITABLE AT UNRESTING´S OMEN
Profitable omen of being in position to remain working.
Better folow in the struggle, even if you don´t know for what.

Then, dont run after the lost shirt, it will return by itself OR NOT.

I´m wondering: did you wear the shirt when it get lost?

Yours,

Charly

nothing to do with the reading but I'm always losing clothes and FWIW I always find them in the same place. They are always to be found hidden well under other clothes on hangers. I could look through a wardrobe 50 times and keep missing the searched for item because I've cunningly concealed it under a bigger garment ...presumably at the time I thought I was saving space  smaller shirts under bigger shirts...and so on.

I wish I would stop doing it, life would be alot easier then

Not quite so much :( perhaps. For one thing I feel that favourite lost items often have some kind of magical significance ....see Lindsays post in this thread, about the ring http://www.onlineclarity.co.uk/friends/showthread.php?t=8991

A while back I saw very clearly with my inner eye, that is flashing accross my inner sceen so to speak, an image of my mothers ring, a nice gold ring. It worried me as I thought seeing her ring in isolation like that, as seperate from her.....well the only significance i could see was that if she died I would have the ring. I mentioned what I had 'seen' to her and she told me she had lost the ring. She remembered wearing it in thehouse, it being uncomfortable...then it went and she couldn't find it anywhere...so that was reassuring, the ring actually was 'without her'.

This ring keeps returning to my inner vision...I mean all by itself. I'm not thinking of it or anything it just flashes in front of me. I'd like to find it...I'd like her to find it...but the fact is the object has enough....'energy' to be kindof radiating to my inner vision. Jewellery is often not an inert object in the sense that it is imbibed with the energy of the person. The ring is still not found, and neither will it quite leave me alone....but in a way it doesn't feel like a loss, its feels quite magically significant. I know that when itis found it will be quite special and I don't quite know why :)

I guess a shirt is not quite like a ring....but still

I think theres alot of magic around lost things.

On a more mundane level I once had my favourite jeans stolen from a washing machine when my brother took them to the launderette...he kind of remembered some activity around the machine he used by some girls kind of messing around there ...yet even that felt a bit 25 ishly magic

Most of my jewllery that was given to me by my grandmother, mother, partner etc was stolen from my house a long time ago. One thing they took was very old, a locket my great grandma and grandma wore. I imagine that locket will have pretty strong energy...it left me when it was time to leave....but somehow i don't think anyone else is going to feel right about having it !

Plus you have won the best thread title of the month award ......I love this title :D

lol why's that??

Yes another similiar occurance of me losing something and it bugging the ! out of me is when my younger sister lost my grandma's rosary. my grandma had it for a very long time, and passed away a year and a half ago.. me and my cousin went through her things after the funeral and found jewelry, we each took at few pieces, and I took that rosary.
I remember one night my sister told me she was having anxiety and bad dreams about our brother who passed away last winter, so I gave her my grandma's rosary and told her to sleep with it under her pillow. She can be careless (being only 17) and now wonder if she lost it. I think she did, it kind of bothers me, because it held some sort of special connection to our grandmother. Come to think of it, the only way I would've lost my shirt is if somebody else had taken it to wear, which would probably be one of my sisters. I don't like misplacing things, I try to make sure I consciously place everything.
