Which Job Is Best Suited For Me??????

Hello All,

Yes. It's time to move on and pursue other avenues for income. I'm at a crossroads in seems in my life however. Do I get back into Tech or try something new? There are 3 possible developments on the horizon. I asked Yi:


1. "Please reveal to me if I should pursue the AdCalls Job?"
This is a Tech job mind you.

Hex#7 9-2, 6-5 changing into Hex#8

2. "Please reveal to me if I should pursue the FortressTechnologies job?"
Another Tech job.

Hex# 28 6-1, 9-5 changing into Hex# 34

3. What about pursuing the KForce job?"
My friend works for this company. She loves her job, but, I don't know if the staffing arena is something I can contribute to?

Hex# 28 9-2, 6-6 changing into Hex#33


What are your suggestions? I find it rather interesting that I received Hex# 28 2x. What do you think Yi is trying to tell me?

hex 7.2 says be in the middle of the army, you will be well rewarded.
hex 7.5 says take the lead, be organised, then you will overcome problems.
hex 8 says don't hesitate, join with others, success but a warning not to wait to long otherwise the job will be gone.

2. "Please reveal to me if I should pursue the FortressTechnologies job?"

hex 28.1 says that you should be very cautious about this job. problems here.
hex 28.5 says a withered tree that flowers exhausts its energy and hastens its end. Barren. You are wasting your time going after this job.
hex 34 says power of the great, but with power comes danger, so there could be alot of unseen problems with this job. Conflict with the other employees by not being in harmony with them. Aggressiveness, being too pushy.

3. What about pursuing the KForce job?"

hex 28.2 says renewal of growth for an old idea, a new spark of interest in this job.
hex 28.6 says perhaps you would like to pursue this one but it will give you problems, you will be over your head in this job.
hex 33 says yielding, retreat, in other words don't chase after a job here.

The adcalls job maybe shaking up some of its employees soon, perhaps making some of them redundant, this will lead to new openings in the future and this is the job for you to try for. It seems you will fit in with the other employees very well. But start soon, hesitate and you will lose out.

Thanks man :bows: ! I must say that I am very grateful for you being introduced into my life. You seem to have been here for me as of late (mom & all). I know my own intuition is just not there as of late with my own consultations. Perhaps some day I will be able to assist you.

Interesting about the AdCalls gig. It's an MLM!!!!! I'd have to buy into the company with $2,500!?!?!?!!? So, this won't work for me. I am feeling a little frustrated with the job thing.

Hmm. Hmm. Looking at those readings, it's *seems* quite clear that the first (Hex 7) is most favorable. Unfortunate that it's not a good option because of the $2500 arrangement.

I think 28 suggests both an overload in the sense of stress/overtasking, and that there (probably) isn't much of a future in those other positions. (However, if you're satisfied with, or at least willing to accept, short term work, that might not really be a problem.)

From the moving lines, job #2 (Fortress) might be less stressful (per line 1), but also have less potential for long term development (per line 5). Job #3 has much better potential for growth (per line 2), but will ultimately be a negative situation for you (per line 6) possibly through stress/overwork.

That's my take. Too bad you can't take #1. If I received these readings, I would probably keep looking unless I really needed the work and/or was okay with something short term. Of course, things could always change, or "short-term" might turn out to be two years and you end up satisfied that you took the positions even though the didn't last...

adcalls appears to be the most favourable of the 3 jobs that you mentioned. But as there is a monetary problem, then move on and look for something else. I'm sure you should be able to find something that fits the bill, so don't worry. Never be frustrated, keep on trucking. the next job looks more promising. Are you having some legal problems, as well as financial at the moment?

Hey guys,

Thanks JTE & Willowfox. I don't have legal problems , but I do have IRS problems. I filed bankruptcy 5 years ago and am still trying to satisfy uncle sam. I owe less than I did 5 years, however, I can't survive and pay my debts if I take a $10 job.

Do either of you have any suggestions for me on what questions I could be asking Yi right now to guide me? I'm doing the old Monster.com, Hotjobs, Careerbuilder thing and sending resume'so out but to be honest I really can't see myself in any of these jobs I'm applying for. I guess what I'm saying is that I don't think I'll be fulfilled in any of these positions. Maybe I should be asking Yi where I'll find fulfillment right now?

first off, is what kind of work have you been trained for? What kind of work do you really enjoy doing? See, I'm sitting here and I don't have much idea how to help you with your problem of employment because I don't have a clue what type of job you are after. This I Ching business don't get good answers unless some background info is supplied. Think about the type of work that you would like to do and then ask if its possible to find employment in that field soon, when, where or whatever. Are you interested in law, business, electrical, astronaut?

I really like Technology, however, I'm having diffuculty finding a job in Tech sales here in Florida. It seems that the only job that may happen is the KForce gig. I asked Yi:

"If I'm offered the job at KForce, what would happen if I took it?"

I got Hex# 31 no changing lines. What do you think?

hex 31 says that you can get a job at kforce, in that respect you will be successful, you could make your application in the next few weeks. But I would suggest that you keep looking for another job elsewhere while making your application to Kforce. Of course, if nothing else is available, then I suppose that you should accept a position at Kforce, at least you will be getting some money. You should make enquires at Kforce to find out exactly what jobs are on offer there and exactly what they entail. Something tells me that you are not fully aware of all the facts. Becareful of other employees here.

Hi Jesed + everybody,

Jesed, at this time I don't have the business plan worked out to 100% to follow through with my business. I need to find something soon in order to support myself. I'm feeling like I may have to settle for whatever job is offered to me first, because of my financial strain right now. I hate that. The feeling of having to settle for something.

This is a challenging time for me. My father and the rest of my family keep saying "...i hope you find a job soon....", but I don't want just a job I want something that will inspire me and/or assist me to get to the next level.

Am I expecting too much guys? Honestly, I need your opinion. I'm losing faith that the universe will take care of me (if I do the footwork). Maybe I'm not asking the right questions of the Yi right now? Is that possible? If so, what would everyone recommend?

I asked the Yi these 3 questions today Saturday Sept. 23, 2006:

1. "What do you think about me contacting Mr. Shaedler again at UTEK for possible employment?"

2. "Where will I find an exciting, dynamic, well-paying career in technology here in Tampa that will suit me?"

3. "What do you think about me working at Amerprise?"

Hex# 40 9-2, changing into Hex# 16

:bows: You see, some job interviews I've been going on I'm saying to myself "Do you really want to do this????" Like the finanacial planning job at Amerprise.

hex 34.1 suggests that you hold back for a while.
hex 34.4 says you should remove all obstacles before seeing this person, if you try hard then success will come in the end.
hex 34.5 says no more resistance, stubborn thoughts and problems gone.

hex 48 the well, this provides nourishment, ie gives you money in the pocket, but if you do not prepare yourself well before you go to see this guy, then disaster and setbacks, ie told to go away.

Hex# 38 9-1, 9-2, 6-3 changing into Hex# 56

hex 56 is the traveller, so a bit of travel could be suggested by this hex.
Where? Probably in a direction S.S.E from your home, not too far away and most likely in some very tall building ( if Tampa had hills the place would sit atop of one of them).

3. "What do you think about me working at Amerprise?"

Hex# 40 9-2, changing into Hex# 16

hex 40.2 says that you must remove your negative thinking about this job before applying here. If you go with a positive mind, then all should go well.

hex 16 joy, enthusiasm. If you really decide to go for this job, then apply here. You should prepare well, wake up the enthusiasm and the possibility of getting a job here is good. You should get on well in this job.

FYI, I see nothing wrong with your current modus operandi of researching possible job options and then asking about them specifically.
