Which way do I read my Hex

I carried out the 3 coin cast method, the first 3 casts where 6 6 6 followed by 3 casts 777 so lower canon 12 upper cannon 1. My question is which number is my Hex is it 12 or 1, do I start with upper cannon and meet up with lower in the chart, or lower to upper. Hope this makes sense Thank you

And the most common way to 'read' this would be to read the judgment and about the image of 12, and read the first three lines of 12 (12.1, 12.2, 12.3) and then the judgment and imagery of 1, but not the lines.
