I received hex 50.3.4.6 to when I asked yi for an explanation to why two people I know have acted so disfavourably to me. I don't believe I have done anything to deserve it so needed to know why. I think it means that this had to happen to catalyst my own personal growth.

Any other views would be greatly appreciated as there are not many threads on this reading x

Hi River1980,

I wrote this thoughtful reply last night that took me some time to do. Right at the end it disappeared. I don't know if it was website error or operator error, but either way I was deflated. I went straight to bed. I just wanted you to know you got a reply. I will try and re-do it later.

In a quick response I think it is really difficult to understand the motivations of others which can be complex; and you are asking about two people in one question and their motivations may differ. You asked for an explanation and I think it has to do with something building over a period of time, which is wind. Fire has to do with clinging, clarity and perception. It seems there is some imbalance there. You didn't offer much in specifics so hard to tell the nature of the disfavor. Could it be that you are perceiving an injustice when there is an accident or miscommunication? Or could it be that these people are being shown in their true light and you now have an opportunity to see that and make another choice about involvement?

I will try and write more later. I just wanted to check in this morning after losing my masterpiece :duh: last night.

Best wishes

Hex 7 really makes itself felt here as the relating hexagram I think. When folk behave in an odd way, sometimes overnight, or if there is a cycle of events, repetition of the same situation again, then yes, I often think that because I didnt get it the first time, I am being shown again - and again sometimes, until I get it.

In this reading there is definitely an element of a weight one side - yes, almost an imbalance. Think of what your relationship is with these people - and view the situation from their side - almost balance it up. I have had a similar thing where I am now realising that my enthusiasm and my almost eagerness to get involved means that I am open to attack. Now 50.356 is very much about I think, this imbalance, almost two things together that push each other away, like opposite ends of a magnet. Hex 7 - the waiting army, preparing for attack, but not actually fighting, could be this idea of the repetition of a scenario - you are waiting for an attack, on your guard, preparing for the worst, when indeed nothing may ever happen.

Like Maggie May, some of my best masterpieces sometimes get sent into the ether here. I am not sure if there is a reason behind this - perhaps those words were best unsaid......

Hot tip. It was probably recoverable. As you write what you write is autosaved. Not always entirely but generally some of the post is saved. What you have to do is go back to the thread you were answering on, go to the Go Advanced reply box and on the lower left side of the box you will see an option saying 'restore auto save'. You just click on that and your post should reaper in the reply box so you can post it again. However if you post again on the thread before doing this the post will be lost.

Another option which I frequently use is simply going to previous screen by using the wotsitcalled....the arrow on your screen that takes you back to a previous screen. You will find often by doing that you will be returned to the answer box you were typing in so all your post is there you just have to submit again.

Another option is if it's a long post just go to edit and make a copy then if it is lost you can repost it. I always do this with long posts.

But also what you experienced is more likely to happen with long posts and mostly I find just clicking back to the previous screen return me the reply box with my whole answer still there.

Thank you to you all for replying to my thread. You are both right in the sense that both parties did the same thing, so there is a repeated pattern. An imbalance. My trusting nature and loyalty make me susceptible to attack from manipulative people. And yes I feel on guard all the time, closed off and defensive. Both parties are related to each other too.
