My least favorite casting :(

I got 58.5 when I asked why he has withdrawn from our relationship. A backstory is that I recently got laid off and haven't been doing so well. He calls every night but when I want to actually hang out...suddenly he has to work on himself, nourish himself, etc etc. It is getting out of hand because I feel so needy and yet also like I am making him feel put upon. I get 20.5 a lot as well... Is my atitude the disintegrating influence? Or is he?

I asked for the yi to elaborate on this reading. 60.2

Hi innertruth61,

I do not think that your attitude is the disintegrating influence here - on the contrary. The lack of support from your partner is it actually, because this lack has you questioning yourself, and seeing yourself as "needy" when in fact you are just down and in a bad situation and in need of emotional support - nothing to do with needy, just plain human!
Wilhelms description of this line sums it up very well for me:

"Dangerous elements approach even the far best of men. If a man permits
himself to have anything to do with them, their disintegrating influence acts
slowly but surely, and inevitable brings dangers in its train. But if he
recognizes the situation and can comprehend the danger, he knows how to
protect himself and remains unharmed."

To me this means that you should dissociate yourself from the emotional influence of this person who disintegrates your self esteem.
The secondary hex 54 in this context I read as there is a unbalance of power of power in your relationship right now and that to me is another reason to keep a distance for now.
I wish you all the best, may you soon find a new job and worthier people to associate with!
