New Friend, we are going out this weekend. we are just starting and was wondering what can become of this, so i cast this Hex this morning.

Yes, I definately want to know What Is Taking Shape as it says, so i am searching for the answers (within myself and of course, on the translations of the Hex)
I feel that Hex 57 is saying to me - Slowly penetrating, go slow. as i am doing this again, feeling a bit cautious and not wanting to make something too BIG out of this situaiton, but can't help it. He is a very charismatic man. I want to just see what happens. The lines change (as i read from the bottom up, on line 3, where it breaks, then I look to Hex 59)

Hex 59 - the lines DO NOT CHANGE.

I think its shows me continuing....to start anew...walls breaking down?

As to your original question,
I am confused about your mentioning 59 having a change in line 2. Usually you don't read the individual lines in the derived hexagram. In your case I would think you would only read 57.3 - 59, but not 59.2.

The first thing for you to do is to just relax and stop worrying about where this new relationship is going but if you open up, find a common purpose, be honest and straight with him, then indeed you have a major chance to get closer to him, to become more intimate. Cooperation is the key.

As to your current situation.
57.3 says "Repeated penetration. Humiliation." Could this be referring to you're not being clear you are completely over with your previous boyfriend? Maybe your heart is going back and forth so you don't know what to believe. Anyway, I think this line is cautioning you that you don't want to go too far our on a limb with this romance while there is still the possibility you may want to reconnect with your old friend.
59. says "the kings of old sacrificed to the Lord and built temples." I read this as advice to tell yourself you're putting thoughts of commitment on hold for a couple of months while you let your heart get centered.

Although i still love E. there is no future there. I have been told this MANY MANY TIMES and I have been realizing this for what it was.
