Will I find a decent job? Hex 40 to 47

Im going crazy trying to find a job that pertains to my interests I have posed several job related questions to the Iching....take a look and feel free to give me insight on any. Much appreciated.'

What the h** do I do about my job situation? Hex 37.2.3 to 61

Do your duties possibly school duties and proceed with discipline and be sincere?

Should I be worried about finding a job? Hexagram 6

Conflict with yourself. Possibly yes.

Will I find a decent job? (soon)... Hexagram 40.5 to 47

well, 40.5 sounds positive because it says something about deliverance and proving myself to inferiors, but 47 says confined oppression which makes it sound as if I can only go so far.

I don't know how to properly interpret these readings or hexagrams, and I lack the 'skills' and tend to take the reading too literally. These are many questions which I have posed, but if someone could clear my interpretations I would appreciate it.

Regarding that last one. - Hexagram 40.5 to 47
I've myself had my head wrapped around 40 thiese days.

It could be that you have to find strenght/ selfesteem to pursue this decent job. To get out of the place you might feel stuck in now.
My guess is you sick and tired of your current situation and its probably eating away your strength.

Maybe the solution is closer then you might think. With the people you like and love or are in your vicinity.
In Hillarys translation it says:
"When you know where you’re coming from, it becomes a lot easier to be clear about where you’re going."
- Do you know what this decent job is?
- What would you have to do for you to feel that you're in the optimal place? - do you know what you want?
The 40 also mentions soutwest.
I have always liked to keep an eye on the literal things with such things.
Have a look to your southwest... It won't hurt
( i once asked about finding a place to live and got such a direction - cannot remember now which as i am not close to my notes, but later when I got it, i was surprised to see that the new place was in that direction according to my old place )

And 47 seems to say that this ( progress, job and so on) will not come about at the first try, or easily, but the superior man must not give up yet.

Well, bear in mind that i am in no way an expert, and not knowing exactly what you know makes me not see thing that you might see

well, i never saw the whole 'southwest' thing in there, but I guess it makes sense. I mean i have been trying to apply everywhere for jobs which are relevant and pertain to my major as well as my personal interests and prior internships, but it seems to me like all my applications are consumed by an invisible blackhole.

Hi,

40.5 is a good line, meaning that you are a gentleman with a good character. Therefore you can find yourself a solution as long as the evil one is removed. If you go to the temple with some offerings, the confined situation will be released little by little. Don't worry. you'll get what you want eventually.
