If I accept the new role within my company, will it be more interesting?

Hexagram 39.4 changing to hexagram 31

Context - My company had a restructure and my current role was eliminated :( My director/manager offered me a role on a different team, but were unable to provide job details since there are so many changes in the company happening at the same time. I am left with no option at the time but to accept the offer in hopes it will be better than my current role.

Hexagram 39.4 - says either do not make a decision now and wait for more information or only time can tell once I start my working in my new role? Hexagram 31 - Mutual connection - give the situation time to sort itself out?

Should I begin studying for my GMAT?

Hexagram 17.2.6 changing to hexagram 10

I am not sure what to do I feel stuck in my function (finance). I am in my late 20's I feel like I need to go back to school but undecided exactly what for. Hexagram 17.2 notes that I should not pursue that path if my thoughts are not aligned with business school. Hexagram 17.6 and hexagram 10 I am not sure of.

I think it is saying be careful what I pursue because I have thoughts of shifting my focus on something more technical (like computer science, product mgmt) which may not require a the GMAT - and that pursuing that would be waste of time possibly....?

39.4 : This line says: going hindered, coming joining.
I see it as auspicious for working on a team, as it counsels "joining" and, in this context, warns against self-assertion. The outcome will be 31 (mutual attraction or affinity). You may enjoy the team.

17.2.6:

17.2 : what does you "child" enjoy doing? Lose the "man" (the mature person who thinks about what "should" be done). Be aware of where your heart leads you. At the same time, don't be immature about it.

17.6: make a sacrifice on the western mountain, the place of shadows (where the sun sets). Consider the sincere purposes in your heart, for your life, rather than getting caught up in shadows (or desires that are not trustworthy)

Then take steps-- by following you will then "walk" (hex 10) and gradually the way will become clear, if you take it step by step, with respect for the tiger (whatever the tiger represents for you).
