"Will Polly get the aftercare money to survive the surgery?" and Yi's answer, 40.4.5

Hi, I asked Yi if a service dog at my wife's work will get the money for aftercare (just had major surgery) She won't make it if does not spend atleast a week or two in the ICU. The employers have already spent 20K and have now setup a gofundme page for her. (I would post a link but am not sure of the rules)

Yi's answer, 40.4.5 to 29

Thanks

For shared readings, you should always post the relating/resultant hexagram -- that is, the hexagram formed when there are moving lines.

In this case, it is 40.4.5 Liberation > 29 Danger.

That is, the dog is in danger, and now there's a possibility of liberation.

Here are the line translations (Wilhelm-Baynes)

.4: "Deliver yourself from your great toe. Then the companion comes, and him you can trust."
.5: "If only the superior man can deliver himself, it brings good fortune."

Liberation is about getting rid of obstacles. It sounds like there are barriers to getting this money -- perhaps inner obstacles in terms of lack of confidence or effort, or outer obstacles in terms of people who are not sufficiently dedicated. If those obstacles can be overcome, then success is predicted. I get the sense from line 5 that the employers must really want to see this through if this is going to work.
