Will we start again?

used the online automatic reading

30.1.3.6 changing to 16.

Looking into these Hex meanings, i see that there is confusion on going back and forth. i wanted to ask anyone...the end result is a 16. enthusiastic to say the least.

can you please translate this for me as my love and I are going back and forth now and we last spoke on May 27th. Venus retro has given me more than i can handle with MANY loves and friends coming back from my past.

i thank you kindly because we really do have feelings for one another.

thank you:)

What kind of relationship could we create here?

What kind of relationship could we create here?

I then asked a question, that Hilary suggested we should ask in relationship issues,

i received HEX 3 - unchanging.

this is good, or bad? cannot understand as this is for a new beginning. how can this tie with my initial question?

thank you:)

First, looking at H3, which is Difficulty at the Beginning, I view it as positive, it just means there will be a fair amount of work to be done, in order to have a new start.

30.1.3.6 > 16:Looking at Lofting here, as I am not able to access my beloved Berkers until my new 24 hour period rolls in :(

"[With guidance comes (a sense of) direction] Brightness doubled generates radiance. One uses continuous brightness (guidance) to illuminate (become aware of) the direction of the four point of the compass.

Line 1:One has a tendency to gloss-up the path that one follows [especially if new to it.] This enhances one's attitude towards it (another gloss-up). No harm in this."
Line 3 : The setting of the Sun[The end of the road/path. The light going out.]. No celebration, just a very old man lamenting the past. Unfortunate."
Line 6:
From a position of strength, one enforces discipline through removing the head. Once done there is no need for the body. No harm in this."
I think I would view these lines a bit more as Berkers, Wilhelm and Legge do:

Line 1 is sort of confusion, steps taken in a sort of muddled but innocent and good faith way.

Line 3 is the bemoaning of passing time, and I think the Yi Jing is here sort of telling one to buck up, not to cry over this, but to get to action in rectifying things.

Line 6 from my experience, is removing either what was causing trouble, or an attitude, a stance of consciousness, as it were, which acted as a sort of ringleader, ruining the rest. Once this is done, all else will resume a more normal stance.

I would say, with the relating H16, that you and your lover need to resolve some problems, begin anew, in a very resolved and firm fashion.

I think H3 both ties in with the original question regarding a new beginning, and the second question, as to what type: A new start means new views and new ensuing experiences. ;)

I particularly like Lise's version of H3 as the spark of new life:

A seed sleeps, but when the moisture of the earth awakens it, it has a power to grow which can even split rocks. The power of life.
Nobody can say exactly what the spark of life is, but everybody knows it. One feels it inside and one sees it on the outside. If it is bright, life is full and easy, if it is dim, everything in life is dim too.
It is the inborn vitality which makes things live and grow. Give beings, things or actions all they need for a strong and healthy life. Then their own vitality will sprout and they will grow into their fullest potential.
Everything starts small, from a seed.

Ha, just waking up here, hope this was a help to you.:bows::hug:

Ha, got back into Berkers site:

I would say in this interpretation, 30.1.3.6 > 16 means the need for a complete fresh and new beginning, which Hex 3 is meant to signify:
:)

3. Difficulties

Difficulties.
A foundation for progress.
It is beneficial to persist.
No use going to the goal that is there.
It is beneficial to set a target.

Working on solving difficulties. This is a basis for further progress. It is important to persevere. Because of the difficulties, it makes no sense to go to the actual goal. It is a good idea to try something.

30. Separating

Line 1:

Threading disorderly,
but nevertheless respectfully.
Without fault.

There is some stumbling or misstepping, perhaps because of lack of experience. This however happens in a spirit of respect. It is not to blame.

Line 3:

The sun moves to the West, it goes away.
No drumming on pots while singing,
thus a lot of old people's moaning.
Misfortune.

The end of a period is coming near. There is a tendency to moan and complain, and not try to make the best of it. Things don't go well.

Line 6:

The king issues a ban.
Going is appreciated,
though the verdict is that the captured leader is not a bad person.
Without fault.

Getting rid of someone (or something). It is not so that there is something wrong with this person, but the situation is thus that it's better that way. Doing this is not to blame.

Hexagram is changing to:

16. Hesitating

Hesitating.
It is beneficial to set a target, and mobilize the army.

Hesitating. It is a good idea to try something, and set things in motion.
