will we meet soon?

Hello all,

I hope you can help me to understand these readings... I am missing a lot a friend of mine... I hope I can see him soon but for some practical problems I have some obstacles...

I asked the I Ching two questions:

will I see him soon? 50.3.5 to 6
what possibilities do I have to meet with him in the near future? 13.1.2 to 44

I am not sure of what these readings mean... but it sounds to me that we might not see each other any soon... what do you think?

Rather than repeated questioning of doubt, it would be wise to form one question. "If mistrustful or unintelligent questioning is kept up, it serves only to annoy the teacher [oracle]."

Line 50.3,5 says eventually what ever problem is stopping you meeting him will be resolved and you will get to see him again but it will be next year.

What type of relationship is it?

With the hexagrams you received, the IC is telling you, I believe, that this relationship is meant to be broad and impartial, maybe highly civilized and cultural, even spiritual, in nature. It is not meant to be a sexual partnership.

Something went seriously off kilter when you two were last together, didn't it? Didn't you end up in a state of opposition and conflict?

Detach yourself until you can see things more clearly.

I don't see anything wrong in asking more than one question. If you were indeed pestering the IC, the oracle would certainly have let you know. Personally, I have found the IC more than willing most of the time to provide further insight. It all depends upon your sincerity in asking, I think: your inner state of mind.

Creative Project

As Willowfox indicated, you two will probably come together later. Perhaps on some public creative project. You got Hexagram 50, and this can be a large vehicle for bringing things before the general public, for the good of all. Fifth line moving indicates the solid worth of this project, indeed.
