Work Project and 6.4, 53, 36

The man I am developing a relationship with asked me to work on a project together with him. I would love to work with him, but I am not totally sure it's the right time/project for my career. If I don't take on this project, because of the circumstances, I will see much less of him. I initially said I was interested and we started doing some preliminary work. Then I sent him a note with a bunch of my questions concerning the project - he responded in a very uncharacteristic - "this is ridiculous. you do your thing and I'll do mine"

Perhaps this speaks to my own uncertainty about the project but indicates that things will turn out well? I think it also advises me to not try to engage him on this topic and to let him figure things out for himself?

What can I expect to happen between us this week? Got 53 unchanging.
This seems to indicate things will gradually improve between us and we will move towards working together on this topic. (But I know that doesn't mean we will or will not work on the project together.)

So then I asked what is the best approach for me to take with him now? Got 36 unchanging. This sounds like -- keep a low profile and things will work themselves out.

Do you all agree or disagree with my interpretation? I would love your feedback.

It would appear that he was having a bad day and was probably feeling frustrated with the project as it was not going according to plan, but it says that he will soon get over it and work together once gain.

Slow but sure progress where you will be able to work together in an atmosphere of peace and harmony.

Keep a low profile and don't antagonize him unnecessarily as he seems to be a rather dominant type.

This suggests that you carry on with the project but don't let yourself be only the yes person, you will need to put your ideas across now and again for him to think about and consider, don't let him turn it into a oneway street.

Hex 27 is about providing nourishment in the form of ideas, he needs your talents in order to succeed with the project.

Yes, that is pretty much what I was thinking this all meant, at least I hope so. He has never been so reactive before, and I can only believe it had little to do with me. But he also hasn't been in touch at all, which he does from time to time, but I don't like it.

I would be very sad if he went off on this project without me, but I also need to know I'm participating not just because of him, but because it's right for me. Tough situation.

Well, he has already come around, we are moving forward with some more preliminary work together. I laid low and he came to me. This is one of those times the Yi was "right on." Yes, I need to support him through the decision process on this. I am still not sure it's the best decision for either of us to pursue.

It says becareful, don't be pushy or bossy, be prepared to listen to him and to think carefully before you say something, it would seem that he can be very touchy, so be be impulsive and upset the apple cart.

Yes, I think you are right. I am discovering this touchy side to him and I am a little surprised and a little unsure about how to deal with it. It does make some other things between us more clear, however. Not sure why this topic brings such vulnerability.

Quietly an gently will see further progress in your relationship but be careful at all times not to upset him, so your future progress with him will be determined by your actions.
