I couldn't resist asking I ching another question regarding my work situation. The question was: to which extent is correct decision to stop working for company x.
I am really desperate to leave, just to add.
Well, I got 5 changing into 37. changing lines are 2 and 6. I understood that I ching is trying to tell me that I was waiting till now. Line 2 says leaving will cause gossip, with line 6 saying that waiting is coming to an end now since I'm being forced to leave after period of long and reasonable waiting. I believe 37 is a positive omen saying I will find my place and peace.
Am I reading this wrong ? I'm scared I might because I'm desperate to leave

I think you interpretations quite good here. 5 is this really annoying place, cos you want to move but you have to wait, but with 5 you already KNOW the outcome, you know your gonna quit, and its WILL happen, theres just all this waiting that has to happen first.

line 2 - your still unsure, there some talk happening, maybe with your coworkers, maybe you asking for advice from them or discussing it with someone, either way, this is temporary, hold fast. keep moving, dont listen too hard.

line 6 says theres unknown factors here, this line has a little to do with faith i think- something unexpected is gonna happen, some new event unplanned for, or literally some unknown people will appear, if your honest with htese, if you dont see these 'unknowns' as threats, but rather engage with them honestly and openly, then this whole situation will all move to the next phase.

Yi really doesn't tell the future, it describes the present and the possibilities therein. Your current situation can be seen as "Waiting for Family Members", or people in the workplace who feel like a family to you.

Line 2 refers to the small words we hear every day from others (and ourselves)...they have no weight or significance...but Line 6 is a mystical line, promising eventual good fortune.

But that doesn't mean a good job in a reasonable period...these guests are unexpected and may not bring you what you ask for...and the good fortune is "eventual", not next week and may have nothing to do with jobs. It does indicate you are capable of receiving these unexpected guests after a long wait....

Use your own common sense about whether to quit a job...Yi makes no promises. Like all other oracles, it tends to not give direct answers. But I think on the whole, because you received Waiting, and because of the lines you received, you should see if you can continue waiting.

I want to leave badly. Last salary I received was for december in march this year.
I am constantly sick due to stress and I spent more on getting healthy than I earned this year. On top of it I cannot handle the antics of my direct boss in this situation. Shes unrealistic, delusional and rude as a result of stress. I've been told by her 10 days ago that if I don't use my brain I will always remain helping workforce/lame assistant. That expression is derogatory in croatia where I'm from. And that criticism was unfounded. Everyone around us since she said it in front of other people ended up being unpleasantly surprised. I want to get out and leave her without help from her assistant ie me. This is not the first time shes been horrible. We reported her to ceo last year over a different matter. I called in sick today, I really am sick, and she reproached me for not finishing something she didn't ask to be finished and that was a result of her bad planning. She delegated a task and then asked me why I didn't do 2 others that she never mentioned. Also tried to scare me by saying she'll say to the ceo reports won't be done and implying that will be because of me to which I responded that she is free to do whatever she thinks is the best. Mind you I wasn't paid for the past 2 months so reports can be also late 2 months.: sarcasm:

Again, I don't think Yi is telling you what to do...you want something that you clearly can't get in this environment, and on top of it you aren't being paid! You are the best judge if being without a job is less stress than being at a job you hate. Nothing I say or Yi says should dissuade you from doing what is necessary for your health and sanity.

Meanwhile, there is nothing in your reading that can tell you for certain whether it is a good idea to stay or to leave a job. You must use your best judgement; there is no substitute for that.

You are right. I know that but its hard to accept it since I'm so fed up, tired and stressed. I know if I leave my job my family willi think I'm crazy. And chances of finding any kind if a job are slim.well see. I'll try to decide wisely
