Hello Everyone,

I've got a situation in the office whereby my Upperstudy is suddenly getting outcasted and ridiculed (behind his back) for mistakes made in his work. He used to be getting along well with everyone. But recently, he has constantly been one of the "topics". I respect my Upperstudy as he is the one whom I work closely with. So I feel uneasy and guilty whenever my other colleagues gossip about him to me.

Mu upperstudy is more of a straight, simple and honest guy. I did advise my Upperstudy tactfully on this and advised him on what he should do. But he does not seem to be very motivated to act on my advice.

Therefore, my question to I Ching was "Should I help X or be neutral?".

I got Hex 43.4.5

Leads to Hex 11

I really will need advice on this matter.

Hex 43.4 you are far too eager to help and that would cause you problems, so better for you to stay still and accept the advice given, don't be hot headed.

Hex 43.5 if you chose to help X then you are in for a long and difficult fight, the others are very strong, so better for you to walk the line on this one. It does suggest that if you are prepared to really fight, then you can indeed overcome the gossipers but at what price to you, it would prove to be an empty victory.

Hex 11 you will find peace of mind and good fortune etc if you remain neutral and mind your own business.
