Yi 42.3>37 and 13.5>35 relationship question

Hello. I asked the Yi "Is X in love with me?" I got Hex 42.3> 37

I don't understand by what Yi means by "even events ordinarilyunfortunate must turn out to the advantage of those affected by them".

X and I are not together as a couple. I feel inner connection between us.

Hex 42 is Increase and 37 is The Family --- I take this to be a positive sign but would like a clearer interpretation please. More clarity.

I don't understand this. Given that we just had a discussion about our relationship. Can someone shed some light on this for me please. I rather not read into it. TY.

Doesn't look like any substantial feelings, I wouldn't hope for anything really. I think both hexs are talking about you - that even though the situation is unfortunate (42.3) you can walk away and not be harmed too much if you do it now, and then just persevere in your search for a better match (37).

12.5 is a one-sided affair, you are blocked and 35 has come up for me when it's just been a short term thing/sex/passion whatever.

relationship readings are not very reliable although if you are communicating with him you may get somewhere. Asking Yi if he is love with you is a total waste of time.

Given that you have just discussed the relationship then all the light that needed shedding should have come from that discussion, from what he said. What he said about it is the light about it. Don't try and have a dialogue with him via the I Ching will you as that will lead you far astray.

Thank you Kkappa and Trojina for your insights. I will read those two threads as recommended. Yes, the Yi just confirmed what the discussion was about - (12.5) Stagnation, not going to the next step. I want more. He won't give it. (42.3) I may see this situation as an unformate event for me now but it is really a blessing in disguise (37). Thank you again for the clarity. :bows:
