Dear Forum members.
I need some academically based research on the history of the coin method. I have read a few places that it goes back to the tang dynasty, but it was never documentated by the authors, and I have had little luck finding any info about it. There are a few references in Bent Nielsen's A Companion..... but haven't got those yet.
Maybe you have an interesting pdf article in your computer? :bows:
(Chinese is no problem).

Yes, thanks, I have but there is unfortunately no precise references to the coin methods.
I was hoping that someone had done some research in ancient texts, but I haven't come across any. In Da liu's book there is some mention of Zhu Geliang and more but again no references.
