A year ago I woke to see an insect bite on my shin. Thought nothing of it, probably a small spider. The next morning found three bites in a line on my arm.

Oh brother.
I went into a minor panic because a few years earlier, I had spent the night in a hotel and got about 50 bites in one night. (I have an allergic reaction to them and they swell up like large mosquito bites: Doctor gave me 50 injections)

Minor panic:
I checked my bed and didn't see any.
I asked, "Are they at my workplace?"

hmm... (understood later)

Are they in my car?

No, they weren't.

Are they in my apartment?

Yes, that is where I got the bites.
They just started following me. Elk Snacks.

I told the landlord (the ally from 39.4)
He gave some spray, I dowsed the bedding and fabrics thoroughly. Dealing with them quickly, I managed to eradicate them without another bite. (I'm sure they were bed bugs because the oozing bites stayed visible for a month, as before.)

I really don't like bed bugs!
