Hello! I'm not sure where best to post these ideas, so here I am...
I use the archives frequently after casting a reading and keep thinking that it would be an enormous project but also so helpful if there could be:
1. Some sort of tag for "resolved" threads where the querent returned to share the outcome (or threads where the outcome is already shared).
2. A space to simply share our "resolved" readings without necessarily seeking advice so that others searching the archives can easily find them. Or people could respond with their "resolved" experiences of the exact same reading (not unlike Trojina's unchanging hexgrams threads).
3. An encouraged format for subject lines of posts. (I'm not sure if I missed this in one of the stickies.) Formatting titles as question/inquiry + the hexagram cast would be very useful when scanning the archives, I think. (Is this a good idea? 59.2>20).
If something like this already exists, please let me know!
IMO, the sentiment Trojina shared is right on. I'm pretty confident people don't read the stickies and don't know there is an expectation to follow up. I'm confident of this because I'm guilty of all the things Trojina mentioned: I didn't share the outcome until WAY after, I didn't read the stickies telling me how to properly use the shared readings forum, and I didn't even consider how my readings could help others.
I didn't share the outcome until WAY after,
I believe your only option is to keep a reading journal and maybe to find a friend who does the same. Maybe you can compile your readings and share results. I live out in west Texas; not much chance of that for me lol.

Well... you can already add tags to threads, so you could create a 'resolved' tag and start adding it to threads that have this kind of useful feedback.I use the archives frequently after casting a reading and keep thinking that it would be an enormous project but also so helpful if there could be:

Like Trojina said, this is WikiWing. It solves all the logistical problems you get from trying to do this kind of thing on a forum thread.2. Ahh... that's a good idea. Let me find a sticky where I can add it.3. An encouraged format for subject lines of posts. (I'm not sure if I missed this in one of the stickies.) Thank you for this - I'm sure you're right that this is how/why most people approach the forum. When you overwhelmingly need help with something important, there definitely isn't the mental space for 'Oh, I wonder what title format would make this post more valuable to the archives?' let alone 'Hm, I wonder how Clarity pays the web hosting bill?'I'm not completely sure how I saw the shared readings section at the time. And I believe the reason for that is the same as why I didn't do all that other stuff. I was absurdly stressed out and desperate. At the time, I only went to the shared readings section as a way to get help with my reading. In spite of the lack of awareness back then, I'm certain I didn't view this website as a business at that time.
Going back to the problem of how others view this forum, I think that part of the problem is what I mentioned above about stress. People seem to come to shared readings for help about important issues. I don't see many unimportant readings (questions that have little impact on the querent or that are nonsensical).
Well, I think so .I had forgotten about the resonance journal. Thanks for reminding me. That sounds like a great resource as well.
