I am hoping to learn more about oracle bone divination in China, which I understand goes back at least to the 13th century BC. I have some thoughts about connections to this kind of divination and the Yi, but it is piece-meal at best. In particular, I'd like to know if there are any transcriptions of what oracle bone divination may have been like, and about its history and so forth.

I've found some things on the web, but it's pretty general. If anyone has some sources (books, etc) which are not too academic that would be grand.

The late David Keightley's These Bones Shall Rise Again is a collection of his writings on oracle bones and such. It's pretty readable.
