An interesting new translation is out of Cheng Yi's The Yi River Commentary on the Book of Changes, edited and translated by L. Michael Harrington, with Introduction by L. Michael Harrington and Robin R. Wang from Yale University Press, 2019.

Cheng Yi (1033–1107) lived during the Song dynasty, and was one of the era’s great thinkers. His Yijing work greatly influenced subsequent generations. Harrington's version is extremely thorough, and includes introduction to Cheng's thoughts, notes, glossary. People may be familiar with Cheng Yi's commentary from Thomas Cleary's version I Ching: The Tao of Organization. The translator estimates that Cleary's version is drastically abridged, by more than 50%. Highly recommended for serious readers.

Many thanks, Barbara:

I wonder if the Yi River Commentary is a translation of ...

«Yi jing / Cheng Yi zhuan »
易經 / 程頤傳

... that is available for interested readers in the National Library of Australia, downloadable as zipped images or as a .pdf here...

... also seeable online clicking the image of the cover here...

Yes, that's the book.
But that is only one volume, Hexagrams 21-42. I was not able to find the other volumes on their site. Maybe someone else can figure it out.

Here's information on Cheng Yi and his thinking:
https://www.britannica.com/biography/Cheng-Yi
Chapter Five of Sung Dynasty Uses of the I Ching by Kidder Smith, et.al, is devoted to Cheng Yi.

Actually, this is a great resource, the Internet Encyclopedia of Philosophy. Here's the link for Chinese Philosophy:

More about Cheng Yi and the Changes:

In Philastre's french version of the «Yi King» appears not only the text of the YiJing but also extensive quotes from Cheng Yi and Zhu Xi, of course one has to read french but it's always more easy than chinese.

Philastre's «Yi King» is available in Archive.org in two volumes in pdf reproducing the originals of Musée Guimet. In the page Chine Ansienne, in one volume not only in pdf searchable but also in .doc, the reader can copy/paste the text that is very accurate.
