… and the answer was 26.5 -> 9

Discipline and Restraint, I’ve been getting a lot of advice in that flavour of late, I wonder what that means ;-)

But the answer ties in with my current pre-occupation with the future, my negative re-action to the focus on translating the past I have found amongst IChingers, and the fact that for the first time I’m about to read a whole lot about the IChing.

Generally I have trouble with a lot of words, but I just really liked this:

“In the words and deeds of the past there lies hidden a treasure that
women may use to strengthen and elevate their own characters. The way to study the past is not to confine oneself to mere knowledge of history but, through application of this knowledge, to give actuality to the past.“

Apart from it seeming to suggest the past is worth repeating, not sure about that !
