For forumites who receive the Discovery Channel but may not know about this special called Planet Earth, it is, imo, nothing short of spectacular. Many cinematic firsts, such as a snow leopard in the wild, are shown in their natural habitat. Here in MT it views Sundays at 8 PM. Check your local listings. It is also available on DVD.

Don't have HDTV yet, but with that the reruns will be even better.

I love it! I am buying the series on DVD and watching every sunday at 7pm. Here in TX, we are getting two hours, two!!! at a time...so beautiful and so wonderfull "little green dot in the Universe".. our planet Earth, our Gaia!
