The key to hexagram 59, and especially line 5, is that one must let go of things that are creating obstacles to union. The commentary on the judgment says, "Dispersion shows the way, so to speak, that leads to gathering together. This theme is reiterated in line 5. You will have to find out what element is creating the problem, and be willing to let it go so that the relationship can be restored.
