31.1.2 to 43 and 8.1.2 to 61

In short:

Why is my love life so shi**y?
Got 31.1.2 moving to 43

Not getting it.

31 is about influence&stimulation. I've also found interpretations that it represents a situation in which "one has found what one is looking for". I do have someone I really like and he seems to like me in return but nothing has happened yet. We like each other at distance. So it is dubious if that is "what I'm looking for".

Lines 1.2 (if I understand them correctly) advise not moving for the time being. Or not moving away, or... what?

Hexagram 43, on the other hand, urges to action, or implies action after accumulation of energy.

What does it all mean? I'm in this situation because I do not move, or because I move too late, or because I'm not resolute, or what?

I've also asked what I am to do in order to improve my love life and got: 8.1.2 to 61 which, I think, advises towards finding the right approach.

Help me. Please.

31 to 43 sounds like let the guy make the decisions /make the running. Too many
girls today assume the position of hunter - not realising it throws things off for the
man. You can smile and be nice when he initiates something - but you are not to
initiate

8 seems to be join a spiritual group - church? and just make sure you are right within
61 - i read as inner truth. Patience is a virtue possess it if you can...all the best

I agree with what Hope says..You don't want to chase him. If you really have this strong desire to make things right. I would suggest to go about it in a subtle way (more feminine way) You could say to him that you will be in his area, visiting friends, family or having to do business & you would like to get together for a drink or coffee, but make it light & fun. Than just let nature take its course. Don't force topics or feelings let them flow naturally.

I do hope that he is a gentlemen & has the upmost respect for your approach. Otherwise, try to find the humor in it & you are now closer to realizing your level of emotional needs of what you do & don't want from a mate. You can carry that forward with you on your journey towards greater love and awareness. All the best too.

It's just that... I've always thought that not being a hunter, not chasing and being patient actually is my problem... But, one cannot escape one's real nature, I guess... So, I'll just continue not doing all those "aggressive" things, but being feminine and subtle instead and see what happens (if anything)...


It just puzzles me: how does such an active hexagram as 43 fit into this picture?
