49.1 to 31, Debt owed?

Hello, I am confused with this reading. This guy owes me something and I’m waiting to hear back from him. I asked the ic if he would pay back his debt to me (it’s not a monetary type of debt, but just something he has to complete for me) and received 49.1 to 31. I understand 31 as some sort of attraction (he does like me very much), but I don’t understand line 1 of 49. Is it telling me to wait because he will pay back this debt? Please let me know your thoughts, thanks!

You may be right, there is a bond of some description, I think it its one of two things, yes the debt is owed and should be paid.

Or your hanging on to the assumption it is a debt,
That would be your issue

My thoughts are if the debt is not money, its kind of what makes me guess the later.

Saying all this hexagram 49 in my experience is quite a powerful thing. Its like turning things upside down shake it and see what comes out, 49.1 in my experience is kind of watch the situation, it could change fast.

You are tied to the said situation, in my experience its been me that wont let go

Thank you! So the advice is to watch the situation unfold because it could change in my favor? I’m still waiting to hear back from him. Given the resulting hexagram 31 which implies the bond between us, I threw another casting and asked how he felt about me. I received 8 unchanging. 8 says to cast one more time to see what the nature of our association is, and I got 37.1 to 53. Can anyone explain line 1 of 37, 53 is suspicious but line 1 mentions seclusion within the family, not sure how that applies to us. Could it be saying he sees me as family?
