A sudden change and maybe a move? 46.5.6>57

Hi Everyone! It would be great if I could get some help with this reading.

I decided to move to a smaller place because I am now an empty nester.

I found a really nice studio. It's only 600 square feet but the rent was within my budget, the area is amazing, it's nice and I love it. I hired movers to move my things as I'm a single woman and I couldn't do it myself. I hired painters to paint the walls and make it all nice and cozy for me, and I hired a handy man to come in and hang curtains, mirrors, and pictures on the walls because I wanted it to feel just right for me. And it does. It's an amazing place and the energy in it is great. I chose the apartment number based on numerology and the energy of the number 1 vibration feels great for where I am in life at this time.

Everything was fine and going well, that is until I received a knock on the door from maintenance saying they needed to move my island. The building is brand new and the islands were put into the units and they didn't follow state codes when putting them in so now they have to move them. Moving the island two feet towards the family room area will place it more in the center of this very tiny place and give me no room to move in between my coffee table and the bar. This makes me very upset because I signed a lease based on the layout of the place and now their telling me they must change it and when they change it my things will no longer fit.

I had a meeting with the front office and they asked how they could accommodate me. Because I've only been here for 1 month and I've spent so much money getting the place together, I told them the only thing that would make me happy would be for them to move me to a bigger place, keep my rent the same, hire some movers to move me, hire some painters to paint for me, and hire a handy man to hang my curtains, mirrors, and pictures as to ensure that my place is as great as I've gotten it myself if I have to move to something else.

They said they would check with higher management and get back with me.

I asked the I Ching: What should I know about this situation I'm faced with concerning my apartment complex and received, 46.5.6>57

It appears that the I Ching is saying this would be a better situation but I must move very carefully, perhaps staying firm and correct until they give me everything I'm asking for?

I would love if someone would help me to interpret this reading. Thanks in advance.

What a shame that they're doing this just when you moved in, after so much effort. On the other hand, Mercury is retrograde, and the past week was full of harsh angles. Let's hope they'll change their minds.

About your reading:
46.5 - nothing will be done abruptly, it will all go step by step.
46.6 - dark ascend (to a higher floor?), no rest, a lot of spending.

I think the answer simply tells you that they do plan to go ahead with their plans, not abruptly, slowly but surely, and they probably plan to place you on a higher floor with less light (?). I don't like the "dark" of this line, I'm wondering if it means they'll try to trick you. Perhaps you could ask if there's anything you can do to stop them messing up your current place.

Thanks for your response Diamanda. I have asked and they're telling me there's nothing they can do, they have to move the island. I don't like the dark Ascension part. I don't mind being on the 5th floor, however I'm not willing to spend ANY money at all. I've already spent enough getting the place together. smh
