Hi

I asked this question," The year 2012 seems to be a difficult and stressful year for me. How should I react or do to avoid breaking down?"

I got Hex 7 with no changing lines. I know I need to be strong and continue to persevere through the year. But is there anything else from the Hex that I need to know of?

Please help cos I was on a no pay long leave this year and going back to work next year seems a little intimidating (stressful job as high school teacher) and I have lost momentum after giving birth early this year. But I need my pay back desperately to support 3 kids.

Help...help!!

"Fight for your life, and make good plans. Look at the world and choose the best way to survive.
When you are young, you can create the circumstances for a strong individual life. When you are old, you can defend your spiritual life against all attacks. Organize always all your abilities, so you can defend your borders. Great talents which have no rules will get wasted. But all the things you can or learned, your talents and abilities and assets – organize them, make clear rules and be a good leader.
Have the guts to act worthy of yourself. Then you can defend your territory and make a place where you and your people are safe, happy and prospering."

Hi free
I think IC is telling that your inner strength will be your army and will help you to win out over next year stress. Indeed, I’m sure it won’t be stressfull at all. (maybe just a little with three kids). ;)

Be trustful and prepared: when you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change. :)
All the best :bows:

Hexagram 7 -- The 10,000 things, is about the multitude of things, both visible and invisible. This is about potentials, facts, experiences, people, communities, groups, everything. This also reminds us, that if we are not the leader, we are part of the many things, and so eventually be guided to our best.

To lead or to be led, it's not a question. We are part of the greater whole.

If you are the leader, utilize your troops, seek allies. Guide them to their best for more satisfaction and generate optimal output. And instead of experimenting and discovering new ways, for the moment, study what is working, and then build on that when you're back on track with your army. :)

The theme of hexagram 7 is the importance of getting the soldiers- your kids? - to enlist and also that you must stay closely involved and be sure the children are assigned the chores they can handle.

Image: Be generous - allowances? Movies? - and the kids will want to help.

1. Make clear plans, schedules, goals.

2. Stay actively involved.

3. Don't give too much responsibility to the kids.

4. Don't take on too much yourself.

5. Get through it the best you can. Don't strive for perfection.

6. Share the rewards.

Hexagram 6, Conflict, was all about problems happening when people are not clear what they are agreeing to at the beginning. Hexagram 7 then emphasizes the importance of beginning with a clear goal everyone agrees to focus on. This also means eliminating distractions that would detract from the "war' effort.

And on an utterly simple level of interpretation, one of the main meanings of the word Shi, the name of Gua 07, is "Teacher."
