I think you're question is just fine... but sometimes the IC doesn't give you the most direct answer, sometimes it likes to give advice instead. Hex. 52 has a few meanings... stillness, stopping, control, contemplation, meditation. It gave you two lines, and I think it's sort of a choice for you... either you can have stillness in turmoil and with anxiety with what is happening to you (line 03), or you can have stillness with total control of your thoughts and situation (line 06). The resulting hexagram 02 for me sometimes just means to let things be, things are really fine around you and there is people that can help you if anything. I think basically it's telling you to be present in the moment, don't let those thoughts wander and get you nowhere. Hexagram 02 also can be to help others, try not to focus much on your own success, persevere these moment and you'll make it through. So good luck there!!Clarity,

I am an absolute beginner, but interested in the ancient wisdom of the i-Ching. I asked the question, "If I lose my job, what will happen." To be honest, I don't know if I framed my question in an intelligent way or not. My job situation seems secure, but I constantly feel insecure about the job. I work in Texas, a liberal in an archly conservative area of an already conservative state. I often feel my co-workers harbor hidden animosity toward me, even though they never say anything openly. Perhaps I am paranoid, but two years ago I was basically forced to leave a teaching job I had held for 15 years because of a conflict with conservative ideas in the town where I was working. My reading was 52.3.6 to 2. I read the commentary and it seemed to indicate losing my job might be unsettling at first, but it would ultimately be positive. Any comments explaining things for me would be greatly appreciated.
