Happy New Year!

I have decided it is time to stop living my isolated life in a tiny apartment on a farm in the countryside, and head to where life is - the city. Basically pretty much all the loose ends of my past are tied up now and I am free to move, and there are far more opportunities to be with friends, join a choir and so on, if I move into town.
There are 2 areas that appeal, one where my (few) friends live, call this one y; and the other that is not so far away and a bit more aesthetically pleasing imo, call this one x.

I phrased my questions as "What about living in...?" and for "x" I got 19 Nearing. In an earlier post, Pocossin mentioned this resembling a home and a threshold, so I thought Wow, that's pretty clear, off we go!

Then for "y" I got 24.1.4. > 16 and there I find "open door to your home and relationships - no regrets here" - then the slightly worrying line 4 - then 16, Enthusiasm...well, that seems pretty good too.

Can anyone shed any light on this? Is one option better than the other? Leaving aside all the objective facts like rent costs and so on - where is Yi telling me I would thrive most?

Thanks for any thoughts

Michael

Since in "y" there seems to be something to walk away from (24.4), it seems to me that "x" is better. Hexagram 19 unchanging is said to be very auspicious.

Thank you Ginnie, that makes good sense, although on reading further I find that both RL Wing and Karcher seem to describe something more favourable with "y" - even though it does include the "going on alone" element. On a long walk yesterday I had an encounter with a heron (my totem bird) and a kingfisher and encouraged by this I delved deeper inside and found that it is indeed "y" that appeals to me more.
"X" is a lovely place and Hex 19 seems good.....but....well, anyway, I am looking at both and I'll keep this updated when the time comes.
Either way I am excited and looking forward to the change - thanks again!
