I Ching in the blogosphere

Browsing blogs, it’s remarkable how many people mention the I Ching as a regular part of their lives. For instance, have a look at the technorati search results for ‘I Ching’. You’ll need to skip over a few that just have the words ‘I’ and ‘Ching’ in the post, but on page 2 or so of the search results (at the time of writing), you start to find people sharing readings.

And there’s a blogspot blog – not recently updated, but you never know when it might start going again – with the declared intention of being just a Yijing journal:

Starting a blog at blogger.com is slightly easier (and considerably less painful) than falling off a log. If you have a reading journal of your own online, let me know!

  1. And amazing what people ask about, too! Apparently there is or was a program on CBS called the ‘Amazing Race’ – and someone took the time to cast hexagrams to find out how all the contestants would fare in episode 1. Could be a good way of studying hexagrams, being able to watch them played out on the screen like that.
