Hello -

After meditating for a while on a subject I wanted clarifiction about, I asked the Yi "What do I need to know about XYZ?" The response came back with a primary hex, 3 step changes and a relating hex, and of course the preceeding hex. The reading had a great deal of relevance for me and has given me a lot to consider.

The term "danger" appeared in the primary hex and the first step change hex. If I wanted to explore what "danger" meant here, how might I best pose my question? I'm really new to the Yi and these more refined points still elude me.

Thank you for any advice you can offer. :)

Peace,

Beth

Beth, it isn't always so important to narrow down the question, only to have your mind focused on what you'd like to understand. So, you could simply focus on the word "danger?" and go about your tosses. Syntax is more for our sake than for Yi's. If you know what you're asking so will Yi.

What Candid said.

Also, sometimes you just have to take a Yi pronouncement on faith. So if it says 'danger', you don't always see what the danger is, but you can rest assured (ha!) that danger's an element of the situation.

Thank you both for your input. Candid, I will do just that and allow the Yi to do the directing, as if it could be any other way. :)

Interestingly, last night I dreamed of driving in snow. I was not concerned or frightened, but I was driving carefully, with ease. The snow was very beautiful and the drive was pleasant. In my waking life I have never been afraid of driving in snow and I do find it beautiful, even blizzards - rainstorms, now that's an entirely different story. :)

I think I will follow up on snow as well.

Thank you both again. :)

Peace,

Beth
