You are dispersing your energy, scattering your seed to them for long term growth; again, you will not be able to tell much in the short term. Seeds planted lay dormant through winters and other periods until conditions are correct.Advice re. my older (grade 3) students:

In Hex 9, there would be careful nurturing and watering and weeding...you are there for the long term, taming accumulating and restraining. But in Dispersing, you are dropping boundaries and letting the energy flow forth out of channels.The way you describe hex 59 makes it sound more like hex 9! But makes sense what you're saying. What I'm teaching it is hard to tell how much each individual is taking in, although getting a better idea having set them a writing task... they still needed a lot of help. They learn mainly through repetition. I think Hex 59 with regards to this grade is reflecting a need to restructure - the past two weeks have been more of a chore because of the game I introduced, and prizes, which I should have thought about more...
