I asked: "How will the game next Tuesday against Uruguay go for Holland?"
Answer: 2.1.2>19

Judgement:
THE RECEPTIVE brings about sublime success,
Furthering through the perseverance of a mare.
If the superior man undertakes something and tries to lead,
He goes astray;
But if he follows, he finds guidance.
It is favorable to find friends in the west and south,
To forego friends in the east and north.
Quiet perseverance brings good fortune.

2.1: Six at the beginning means:
When there is hoarfrost underfoot,
Solid ice is not far off.

They should be aware of any signs of decay caused by tiredness or overconfidence.
If they stay on guard. Anticipate on the attacks of Uruguay they will do fine.

After certain scarcely noticeable signs of decay have
appeared, they go on increasing until final dissolution comes. But in life
precautions can be taken by heeding the first signs of decay and checking them
in time.

2.2
°Six in the second place means:
Straight, square, great.
Without purpose,
Yet nothing remains unfurthered.

Go with the flo!
And the finals will be awaiting for the Orange team

Going to 19
Approach

The Judgement

Approach has supreme success.
Perseverance furthers.
When the eighth month comes,
There will be misfortune.

Look like another orange victory (2 - 0) but can they finally take the cup home?

Looking good for Oranje. Uruguay is missing Suarez (who plays club football in Holland, ironically) and possibly team captain Lugano. My cast for Uruguay was 55.1.2 > 32. They have endured to become one of the world's top 4, but are eclipsed during their brief meeting with Holland?

Spain qualified for their first ever WC semi final (!!!), though they're still far from playing at their top form. The Germans are on fire, so most are predicting them to win. For this match, I have Germany at 26.3.5 > 61. Germans are chasing the fine horse (Spain) and trying to tame their ball possession. Leads to 61-- pigs and fishes (and Paul the octopus?)

Spain is 21.4 > 27. Biting through is an arduous task though they win in the end. :D

And a summary of all the readings so far, incase it's useful for the archives...

Ivory Coast 45.2.5 > 40. Out in round one.
France 56.1.6 > 55. Out in round one.

England 48.1.6 > 9. Out in round 2.
USA 14.1 > 50. Out in round 2.

Brazil 45.2 > 47 and 55.4 > 36. Out in quarter-finals.
Argentina 38.2 >21 and 7.1.2.4 > 51. Out in quarter-finals.

Uruguay 55.1.2 > 32. Semi-finalist
Holland 33.2.5 >50, 58.1.2.3.4.6 > 53, and 2.1.2 >19. Semi-finalist.
Germany 63.5> 36, 13 unchanging, and 26.3.5 > 61. Semi-finalist.
Spain 45 unchanging, 46.4 > 32, and 21.4 > 27. Semi-finalist.

My cast for Uruguay was 55.1.2 > 32.

****It would seem that they would need to be out and on the attack but Holland just seem so much bigger.

For this match, I have Germany at 26.3.5 > 61.

***They are sure prepared, defense looks good and they aren't underestimating Spain.

Spain is 21.4 > 27.

****Spain know that they are up against a tough team, its going to be a real hard fight to squash that squid but they have a strong chance if they realize that they have nothing to lose by going on the attack.

Yes, I remember that. A bunch of those readings above were cast for specific matches, but they also seemed to portray the countries' performance in the tournament as a whole.

My apologies though, for posting your reading without context.

Sounds like a great game, regardless of who wins (but go Red Fury, go David Villa!!!)

Well the squid had 80% success rate at the Eurocup, only mispredicting Germany's loss to Spain in the final. Something about the Spanish unnerves him , so he'll want to get it right this time.

Today is Uruguay/Holland-- good luck Mazaru and the Orange!

Tomorrow is a goal (metal arrow) by David Villa and paella for everyone...

WAUW!
Holland in the finals!
Team Orange wins with 3-2 against Uruguay.
Now let's see against which team they will play next Sunday. Will it be Spain or will it be Germany.
The Netherlands are partying now. I hear singing, vuvuzuela's, shouting and fireworks everywhere.

Oh yessss!!!! And the score is... 1-0 for Spain :claps:

With respect to the Germans, they've been an incredible team in this tournament. But I'm so happy for Spain!!!! The so called chokers, underachievers have finally made it to their first WC final!

And what a prescient octopus and fox!

Now we know! I'll be rooting for Holland, too. Really happy if either team wins. I lived in Amsterdam for two years and love the Dutch. But I love the Spanish team and their style of play. Either way it's going to be a great final and a new world cup champion! Will have to do castings when this settles.

What will be the result for Holland with the match against Spain next Sunday?
30.1>56

THE JUDGMENT

THE CLINGING. Perseverance furthers.
It brings success.
Care of the cow brings good fortune.

Nine at the beginning means:
The footprints run crisscross.
If one is seriously intent, no blame.

It is early morning and work begins. The mind has been closed to the outside
world in sleep; now its connections with the world begin again. The traces of
one's impressions run crisscross. Activity and haste prevail. It is important
then to preserve inner composure and not to allow oneself to be swept along
by the bustle of life. If one is serious and composed, he can acquire the clarity
of mind needed for coming to terms with the innumerable impressions that
pour in. It is precisely at the beginning that serious concentration is
important, because the beginning holds the seed of all that is to follow.

I think this means that the Orange team will be somewhat confused at the start of the game by the way Spain is playing.
They will have to collect their calm, their patience and their confidence again.
After that their game will be much better.
If they are able to score the first goal in the game. Victory is for the Dutch!
And they will go home with the worldcup.

30.1>56

Isn't line 30.1 explicit, the Dutch team run hither and thither desperately trying to score, this is the beginning of their end, as next their concentration goes and so they end up traveling home alone, no cup this time oranges.

I also see the confusion and running hither thither. The Spanish win games by controlling the ball and making the opposing team run in circles to get it back. The Dutch know this and will concentrate on keeping possession. But ultimately Spanish skill controls the game, and the Dutch feel like strangers in a strange land.

Not related to the reading-- I do see the orange fighting much harder than the Germans did.

Haven't done a reading for the final yet. Maybe I should just stick with the 45 unchanging and 46.4 > 32 :D

this line 46.4 what a cracker, "does this really mean they get the Cup this year?"

As "Willie" says, "one acquires fame in the sight of both gods and man."

Watch the skies, watch Spain.

Maybe I'll try some readings for the individual players. I had a 9 for Fernando Torres who is recovering from injury and not on form so far (his team # is also 9 incidentally). We could try more for other red and orange players...

I love that! That's the way the game should be played.
allthough I think Holland can play like that too

Oh yes. Due respect to the clockwork orange.

WF, lucky you're not so famous. Otherwise I'd be worried about your safety.

Spain's defeat of Germany in the semifinals prompted some Germans to wonder about how he would taste grilled. Spanish Prime Minister Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero fretted about the safety of "El Pulpo Paul," as he's known in Spain, and offered Paul protection.
"I am concerned about the octopus," Zapatero said. "I'm thinking about sending in a team to protect the octopus because obviously it was very spectacular that he should get Spain's victory right from there."
In response to hundreds of angry e-mails from disappointed Germans, the aquarium actually did take extra precautions, Porwoll said.
"I even told our guards and people at the entrance to keep a close look at possible for football fans coming after Paul for revenge," he said.

We didn't predict the third place game, but Paul went ahead and picked Germany. And so it was. That's 7 out of 7 world cup games for the octopus, and 12 out of 13 games including the Euro Cup. Only one more prediction to go...

Final readings. Not so much about who wins or loses, but how each team performs and what kind of game this will be.

Spain 55.1.2 > 32
Holland 55.1.2.4 > 46

This reminds me of all the 45s I drew at the beginning of the tournament. First a great gathering, now the final game- abundance peaked, enjoy it while it lasts. They're saying this could be an epic game for football purists, and that seems possible from those readings. Looks like a tight game for sure with a possibility of penalty shoot-outs

Hope everyone has fun watching!

Very close 1-0 to Spain with the goal scored just before penalty kicks. Spain!!! :claps:

So 45 unchanging means winning the world cup and 33>50 is second place. Holland had a great tournament and was so close today. To be fair both teams played far from their best in the final, but Iniesta got the goal in the end.

Thanks for your predictions WF which kept me sane during a bunch of tough matches. Four years til Brazil...
