My point is not what the I Ching does (or doesn't do); it's about what we do with its response(s) - and do we take enough time to pay attention. You said above that you "don't listen to ... people's advice" so it made me wonder about this long lists of questions, and if it allows you to take the time to listen to the Yi's advice? Maybe you can. I just know my time and attention would be scattered by asking too many questions at the same time.... iching not only describes our subconciouss' concerns but also a reflection of ourselves and then gives and answer to our quesrions
Well I was wondering what was its opinion not really an advice I know that the opposite of the flaw it describes is the thing I shouldn't do. but it was more of an excercise to know how I was being seen by th iching sometimes I received 21.6 and I wonder if it is someone else who isnt listening apparently is meMy point is not what the I Ching does (or doesn't do); it's about what we do with its response(s) - and do we take enough time to pay attention. Just a thought. D
It seems you have your answer.someone ... who isn't listening - apparently is me
interesting that for "what am i" you got modesty in movement and for "who am i" 21>49, maybe biting through that question will bring about some change for you, possibly Yi suggesting to not try to be or become "somebody" but just indeed, stick to the first one?I am not sure how to interpret the second question it makes less sense than the first one since it the first one would be suitable for the second question
I had asked a question twice because iching keep answering about her (and talked about hex 6) and the moving line 3 advices me to not keep judiging her from past actions(I am going ot be honest i have been getting 55.1.4 past weeks and I received 42 sometimes) and I have been seeing in the general tarot for Aries that someone from my past would come back for reconciliation and offer love me love (most says either a twinflame or karmic relationship)(and I got 42 so it is quite possitive) but I know that already and I even made her know but her own Christian beliefs (or being reluctant to admit she feels some attraction) made herself to block to the idea of past lives' existances and that God being possibly (related to ) the universeAs far as asking multiple questions I think it’s a matter of what works best for you. If you feel you get valid, useful insights from doing multiple casts then what’s the harm? The worst that can happen is you will find - as you did with your second question above - that the IC will make good on its threat that if you ask more than once it will give no (clear) answer.*
See hexagram 4 Judgement.
You said this thread is about the multiple questions you asked about "how iching would perceive me"? (And that you were only seeking an opinion, but not advice.) But above you're talking about 'her' - a woman I assume - and so I'm not follow the leap of reasoning or the story line ....I had asked a question twice because iching keep answering about her (and talked about hex 6) and the moving line 3 advices me to not keep judging her from past action .... but her own Christian beliefs (or being reluctant to admit she feels some attraction) made herself to block to the idea of past lives'
I have asked about me but iching answered for previous concerns I happens I had to ask twice to get the answer for me lol what has to do with me an conflict? inner conflicts(I have but still that doesnt describes me during my whole life)? You said this thread is about the multiple questions you asked about "how iching would perceive me"? Are you offering us another example where you asked the Yi multiple questions about the same subject - which in this case, is a woman? Or are you saying that the Yi is a 'her' (a woman) and that you should not judge the Yi, or question the fact that the Yi is not attracted to you; nor judge the Yi's Christian beliefs - and the fact that the Yi doesn't believe in past lives?
I'm not sure if the ancient Chinese believed in past lives either. So maybe this woman of whom you speak - who might be the Yi or might be a woman with Christian beliefs - is speaking the truth? And that your many questions revealed this truth for you.
D.
