I'm currently seeing an OT at the moment whom I had an initial, seemingly pleasant chat with ~ which including talking about the I Ching and how I felt it has been helping me (despite me not utilizing it for help and advice very often). However, in the initial revision of their report, they described my mentioning of that as "delusion", which felt quite unprofessional to me. In the revised report, they had removed that part. Still, it felt... rather dismissive.

As I have trouble thinking about good questions, I decided to first just meditate on everything related to the question at hand:

In Australia, there's this funding scheme called the National Disability Insurance Scheme, which provides funding for the disabled to get support for stuff related to the disability. Mainly physical, as they seem to only really care about the obvious disabilities, but they're very slwoly learning about the importance of mental disabilities ~ include the ones like depression, anxiety, PTSD, anger issues, etc, which are quite crippling and disabling in their own right, despite not being physically visible.

I've been getting quite limited funding, so I'm seeking to acquire more funding by appealing based on my current needs. Partly, it requires a series of assessments from an OT. It felt to me like that experience with the OT, based on their initial report draft, has caused me some distrust in their capacity to actually listen to and understand me, without harsh, undue judgement.

I decided to ask my support worker about changing OTs, but they told me that I need more consistency in my supports for the time being, so I don't have the luxury of flexibility in just changing OTs at a time when I need to work towards appealing for more funding.

So, my question was based around: is it favourable to stick with my current OT for the time being, and wait until a better time to switch OTs, when I do have the luxury to shop around for an OT who I feel I can actually connect, and work with?

10.1 seems to suggest keeping it simple for the time being.

10.3 seems to imply that I can't see very far at the moment, which is quite true ~ I have very little mental energy to see clearly, so reasoning about what's going on, as a whole, is quite draining for me. I have little energy to focus with, so it's quite straining to try and focus on all of the disparate elements, and see the whole picture.

10.4 seems to say that if I have the necessary patience, then eventually, I will be able to achieve my desires.

57 seems to imply that I need to take it slowly, be patient with the process, and eventually, I can make gradual changes.

Any and all interpretation advice is most welcome. :)
