Hi all, I asked about a truly infuriating situations in which a very important action whas going to take forward, one in which I’ve done part up to the current step…. Such that the ball is in the other parties hands, and thinks can’t move forward until he responds to me with a recogonition of the already suggested plan ( that he hiself made and to which I I offered a feee adds in’s ) And The cost of the work ( so I can at least start saving towards it). This represents actions taken that can godwillingly put sn end to a very terrible pattern of an abuse ( though done in a legal way). Simply put, I need this guys help and wile my crisis is a big deal to me, he is just another guy will skills in high deman, and I’m gett frustrated. Hi is also unusually busy right now due to high volume of interest in his work

I think you are on to something when you say the problem is this person’a skills are in high demand making you just one of 45. The Group that wants him. Perhaps you need to do something to make your project stand out or appear to be easily dealt with?

What would you think of directly asking what to do?

I understand why you'd ask for a picture of what's going on, but if you get one, you may or may not know what to do about it, and if not, you end up having to ask how to move the thing forward anyway.

I suspect with this one the unchangingness (I think unchangingness is very much a living creature unto itself) is important. A great effort is needed, people have to bring their best cattle and lots of them, and all pull in the same direction, and that is hanging fire and has a big question mark behind it or hovering overhead.
