Background: Again, torn between choosing 1 of 2 classes, after swapping out a harder class that was beyond my level and time capacity. I have the option to go with class A (data mining), or class B (database mgt). Class A is held on-campus by the same professor I took last semester. The class seems decent and could help expose me to new stuff but doesn’t feel like I’d get much out of it given all the assignments/exam was graded after the semester ended. The reviews also say the continuation class isn’t as good as the first one from the previous semester I took. It was like teaching myself, but I did do well in it. On the other hand class B, is held online for both the main course and separately a lab portion. It seems like a more hands-on approach with a professor that cares. I am lost which class is more beneficial to take here.
h14 = a wealth of resources (aka data mining). L 1 and 6 change meaning you go through the whole hexagram-experience fairly quickly, like A to Z ... done! It seems to flow from (11) your previous experience with this prof and the impression you have of what you'd get out of it. Only you can tell if this a good thing in terms of how strategic this is for your education and your professional aims. How would it go if I choose to stay in class A (in-person data mining)? Hexagram 14.1.6 > 11
Line 4 – not for me to dominate, maintain a low profile and don’t be jealous of others, where line 6 says is favorable as long as I’m sincere about taking this class.
"sometimes it' a good thing to be stopped on your tracks" (when you're making a fuss out of things) or "there's a key piece of info or a tool that is missing here for advancement (35)". Only you know the answer. How would it go if I choose to instead stay in class B (online database mgmt?) Hexagram 64.2 > 35
He brakes his wheels. Perseverance brings good fortune, rectitude is auspicious. Confused how some unfinished (64) goes to progress here. Perhaps I end up leaving this class to focus on the other one.
You asked both Qs in terms of "if" and "staying" - one goes fwd, the other term holds back so this muddies the answers, sorry. Is this a choice between options, really, or staying with what is there already? Can you do both, if not why? What class should I take option A or B? Hexagram 30.4.6 > 36
Line 4 sounds nasty – burns, dies, and thrown out Yikes! I guess I did something wrong here. Line 6 – don’t have negative thoughts, take charge and decide? I feel like option B I’d enjoy more, but option A could be more beneficial in some ways. lost
Thanks, my mind was fuzzy when I asked the question since I was trying to sort out the cons and pros in my mind. I took your advice and asked another question, but think class A might be more beneficial in the short term and give me a chance to meet people on campus. Despite not being interested in the material I realize I can't shy away from it, and it would give me a chance to practice the programming language and learn some new math. Guess I'm hiring a tutor now.h14 = a wealth of resources (aka data mining). L 1 and 6 change meaning you go through the whole hexagram-experience fairly quickly, like A to Z ... done! I think the third casting is Yi telling you that your clarity of mind is obscured or that the questions are obscuring the answers. It is up to you to decide what's best for your education and trajectory. Or asking a clearer question along this line.
Things would go great with the group so long as you manage to reverse your normal ways of relating with others. Your challenge would be sharing and integrating in a humble way.How would it go if I choose to stay in class A (in-person data mining)? Hexagram 14.1.6 > 11

Here you might find it all a little bit more than you thought it to be. Lots of new things to get to grips with that will stretch you in ways you haven't imagined. It's going to be a challenge for you to keep all your plates spinning. Not an impossible task especially if you take the right precautions and make flexible plans that allow you the wriggle room for success. How would it go if I choose to instead stay in class B (online database mgmt?) This is a time to think of yourself first. Take everything in and see all the callings, the tuggings, what ifs and maybes of the decision making process clearly for what they are. Then follow the path that makes your heart sing: whatever the future may bring. Your challenge is to make a fearless decision that you can stand behind. For you and nobody else. What class should I take option A or B? Hexagram 30.4.6 > 36

That's the impression I got, too, maybe especially from 30.4.either way there's no wrong decision
