7 <> 15What is the root cause of my anger and bad mood?
7.2 - Be open to embracing wider perspectives and especially engaging with new opportunities arising from the gifts that are bestowed on you. This will be a great help to correct the way you walk in the world now.I'm tired of being angry at trivial words/situations and not knowing why when I'm normally an optimistic person, I tend to handle my emotions well. I just want to figure myself out.
Wow... I definitely have a lot to work on.7 <> 15
'Multitude' through 'Authenticity'
The root cause of your anger and bad moods is held within the respect to the way that you conduct yourself . There is an inner imbalance in your life (15). This is behind your easy rise to anger and you swings into low mood as you are unable to respond in a flexible way to the turbulence that you come into contact with.
7 refers to the wars and battles, and the multitude of ways that have led in the past to you feeling defeated or less than your true self. There are many wounds and scars that still remind you of the grief of those times and Yi advocates that it is these wounded soldiers, within, that are now requiring of recognition, love and support. You are encouraged to embrace a new style of personal leadership such that your thinking, feelings and actions are more aligned and less confusing as a firm hand is required to assemble a fresh plan for the basis of your life going forward.
7 is deeply guided at its nuclear root by 24 'Turning Back' which encourages activity of putting no-go signs up in the direction of the unhealthy ways in your life; ceasing in trading and bargaining in your current ways you conduct your business - with yourself and others; and to not wander amongst the wild imaginings that make up the landscape of your internal estate.
7.2 - Be open to embracing wider perspectives and especially engaging with new opportunities arising from the gifts that are bestowed on you. This will be a great help to correct the way you walk in the world now.
7.3 - Allowing the emotional corpses from previous battles to remain with you will in no way assist you in displaying the true self that is trapped beneath them in the bottom of the cart and is forever declaring a need of release.

Good Luck
It's funny you mention this because I love my mother but we have a turbulent relationship. As a child she struggled with drug addiction so, a lot of my first experiences with fear, lying, and betrayal were with her. I'd often express to her these feelings and she would say she didn't understand or would dismiss them. Even still now that she is clean and has been sober for a few decades we have these arguments because I feel she doesn't listen to me or warps my words into things I didn't say. When I was 16 she was the reason I ran away from home because I just couldn't take it anymore which also resulted in me being in exploitive situations I was too young for and being taken advantage of due to vulnerability and lack of life experience.Another way to interpret mother is to see what for you the mother represents, what associations does it evoke.
This would be my interpretation. As always, take what resonates and leave the rest
Could this be (part of) the root cause of the anger?I'd often express to her these feelings and she would say she didn't understand or would dismiss them
I must honestly say it pains me to read something like this. Although you understandably, through your past experiences, feel this way, it is very likely not based in truth. If you ask friends and family, they will probably tell you something else: that you are not forgotten and a valuable addition to their lives.because it feels like I've slipped through the cracks and society had forgotten/discarded me.
In other words, once you have found the cause of the anger for yourself, then after that it is time to address it.Thus the superior person lessens what is too much
And increases what is too little.
He weighs things and makes their distribution equal.
totally don't understand how to apply this to the question of self reflection I asked, which was: What is the root cause of my anger and bad mood?
