You're absolutely right. She rang me that afternoon and offered me the job saying she didn't want to muck about in case I found something else!! Since then it's been go, go, go....

I feel like it's the first time an employer has looked at my resume and experience, spoken to me directly and recognized the value of my experience rather than the fact that I have no formal qualifications.
I spoke directly to the person I will be working with who is the principal of the school. Not HR, not an interview that is AI, which to me makes a big difference to see the person for who and they are and not what they look like on paper!

Recently I submitted an application for another job. I received an email with a link to have an AI interview. I couldn't get the link to work so I sent them a message and they responded with "try another device" which anyone with common-sense would have already tried. So I let it go.
A few days later I received another email with a multiple choice question asking why I didn't go through with the interview in this location. First of all that was a completely different location in another state.
Anyway I chose - I couldn't get the link to work and that was the end of their interest UNTIL a week later they sent me an offer that was 200 kilometers away. WTH!!
