What are the chances Cruz will be Trump´s nomination for VP?

63. It set, but still a matter of negotiating terms
63.3 Other candidates are inferior
63.4 The situation is favorable, but there are still fatal flaws to be avoided which could unravel it all (Trump's are obvious, Cruz's maybe in being inflexible?)
17. Following has supreme success for Cruz who still has his sights set on a future presidency

I basically read it the same as you...

Cruz as Trump's VP?

63.3.4 to 17 ("I'll wait until All-Hat-and-No-Cattle over there folds.")

Cruz is looking to complete a deal (63),
for 3 years down the road (.3),
after Trump's campaign flounders (.4),
Then he will Follow (17).

So, Cruz will speak for Trump at the convention, but he won't join him, because he expects Trump to go bankrupt in a losing effort. However, he also expects Hillary to be a one-termer, and will use his convention speech to position himself for the 2020 campaign...

Thanks for your interpretation. So, it sounds like you think hex 63 is more about Cruz being set on a new bid for the presidency rather that hooking up with Trump. It does sound possible, although I still think a Trump/Cruz ticket would get a lot of traction toward defeating Clinton. If so, Cruz could be looking at being in a much more solid position when he makes his next run for the presidency. I see what you mean, though, because a Trump failure could also damage him, so I guess it would be a gamble for him either way. It will be interesting to see, then, which direction hex 63's "Already Across" goes within just a few weeks.

I wish he would pick Paris Hilton for VP.
She's also rich, famous, and another intellectual giant.

for 3 years down the road (.3),

With it being certain that Pence is Trump's VP choice now, it's clear 63.3 needed to be interpreted as a distant time element related to 63's completion. Nice to know. Nice call.
