64.1, go for it, don't hesitate, don't wonder if you can do it, deserve it or whatever other doubt you might have.
.
This is a vexing line because its quite important whether you take it as 'don't go full on' or 'go for it full on', i've puzzled over it in my own readings
I think I was looking for reassurance of their interest in what I can offer for them
I see it as "act with selfconfidence" because the fanyao (36.1) tells you to trust that the horse will come back by itself. Things will work out - if you let them. Not by jumping blindly into it, not holding back, but trusting your abilities and going on. Keep that tail up in the air, a selfconfident fox, don't let it trail in the water.this is the opposite of how Wilhelm, Karcher and Hilary see it. They all see it as about holding back more than going for it. i thought the danger in 64.1 was you go for before you actually have the momentum to finish it..You try to get across the water but don't quite make it, your tail gets wet.
Maybe what you are saying is if you don't put all your 'oomph' behind this you won't have the momentum to get accross.
