Potential relationship question

I’d like to do things differently this time as I have a PhD in picking a wrongun and in totally missing the red flags..
I’m going on a third date tomorrow with a man who seems to have some really good qualities and to be thoughtful and interesting and communicative and attractive! No red flag in sight...
though don’t know him really at all yet and I’m going to try and keep the blinkers off this time, which doesn’t come easily. I’m also going to take it slow 
Q: I’d like a good relationship, do you think I can I have that with x?

This isn’t a combination I think I’ve had before.. something about nourishment or difficult lessons and devotion or receiving guidance from life lessons? First line seems to suggest a loss of something profound / an essential aspect of spirituality or self. He has had real challenges in life: a significant period of time in the military then his ex wife had a life changing stroke when they had two young children and he carried the weight of domestics and child care et cetera and her brain damage changed her personality altogether, (I know a bit about brain injury or rather changes in the brain as my dear friend who died last year had an aggressive brain tumour that changed her personality profoundly.. so it’s interesting our paths should cross.) .. so.. I know there’s been some real darkness for him and that he sought help with therapy and by exploring Buddhism Perhaps 27.1 speaks to this? Shows there’s been loss and peril…? And then the sixth line changing as well into some sort of integration… or receiving understanding or guidance.. ?
Advice for me in this relationship

Don’t think I’ve had this combination before either.. From what I’ve read around this changing line, it seems to be advising aligning with truth and openly expressing it with some faith that that’s safe to do so?
