Hello and happy new year everyone! I missed everybody, and I have alot of catching up to do in regards to reading posts that I have missed.I've been off the scene for a minute because my schedule has been crazy and I met a new love. I asked the Yi if he truly loves me and I received an answer that startled me. I drew hexagram 54 The Marrying Maiden- sounds good yeah? but, the text... not so much. I have a my own feelings about this, but does anyone else feel compelled to comment?

sometimes I have gotten readings I didnt especially like to think were valid, too, but the YI can be like a wise old grandma..with truly one's best interests at heart. I have often seen this in retrospect.
but 54 is not a death knell....just indicating some disadvantage, a compromise..maybe even the presence of third party. Maybe you deserve better

It's strange you mentioned a third party because he has a child with a woman who has a difficult personality. I saw that I would play a secondary position because he and I don't have that co-parent thing going on. I have a suspicion that she may be a thorn in the side of our relationship. Thank you for your insight.
