I'm just about to finish a housesit.
I've been in 2 minds whether to come back for a second sit I'd lined up with them in another 2 months (it's for 10 weeks).

Just yesterday I decided it would be okay despite a few anomalies to begin with, everything (and everybody) had settled down.

Then unfortunately yesterday evening there was a bit of a 'incident' that left a sour taste in my mouth and I've decided NOT to return.
In lieu of it now being the main reason I won't return 'Is it worth mentioning it to the owners?'

It might be saying to gather yourself up, protect your interests. It might also be saying to come together with them to talk. This answer can be about people coming together again, investing in one another and so on. Perhaps talking to them about the sour thing might bring you together again.

Also note what you didn't get that might have said 'withdraw' more clearly such as 33.

I get that you are asking whether in view of the fact the behavior of certain people is the main reason you are not returning, should you mention this when you tell the owners why you aren’t coming back? I see 45 as a gathering of people from widely different backgrounds coming together supposedly to share perspectives and be a supportive environment but as one doesn’t really know these people the Image warns to be prepared for anything, even violence. I see this as a reference to the people you’ve had to interact with while doing this house sit and I see this then as the I Ching saying consider how you have been treated by this community, is it so bad that you actually don’t feel safe here? If that is the case then I think you are definitely being told to alert the owners. OTOH, if you just find the neighbors are rude and simply not the sort you choose to 45. Gather with, then I think you should take a hint from this being an unchanging line and say nothing.

I think Trojina's comment about gathering myself up and protecting my own interests resonates with me the most.
Good point Rosada about the community.
I've left a brief note outlining what happened as a heads up. I've a feeling there's a neighbour dispute going on that's got nothing to do with me, that I've walked into the middle of.
Not my circus etc.

Don't want to be in this 'situation' again. There's plenty of other housesits I can 'gather' with.

I wonder if this could be referring to the house sitting job site.
They gave me a very ordinary review. Disappointing considering the work I put into their garden and they never referred to the note I left, personally.
Based on that as well I let them.know I wouldn't be returning.
