I am due to bring some car related documents into the local Garda (police) station some time this week.

I asked Yi about doing it tonight, when it is cooler and evening shift, as I find official things like this daunting.

To me, this also seems to be helping me in general, telling me to get out and about. (Like most of us, I have been home a lot this year!)
The Garda Station is in Galway city centre; I will have to walk too & it will be full of people; Galway is a very popular staycation & party destination! This is definitely what 45 suggests to me.

Even with a mask on & physically distancing, I benefit from the camaraderie of lots of happy people

Does this mean that due to the pandemic & new Irish government requirements that everyone wear a mask in indoor public spaces, shops & public offices etc, that the Gardaí are in chaos but will help me resolve the tax disc problem (it never arrived in the post, the tax office aren't responding, I need a replacement but didn't lose it, so it involves *paperwork*)?

Is it the tax office, working from home, unable to bring the tax disc / cert printer home?
