Hi trauts, On pg. 17 (attached) on How to determine the moving line, does this means that each and every time you for example receive hexagram 1 (Ch'ien), which will consist of the trigram numberings 6 for the upper trigram and 6 for the lower trigram giving: (6+6) - 6 = 6, the sixth Line will be determinated?
I can't figure this out as it doesn't fit with my sense of Logic. So I may have misunderstood here because other lines (not to speak of the seventh Line) in hexagram 1 sometimes should have a possibility to be pointed out...
How shall I understand this?

Hi again, in searching for a possible website of yours I realized that you are (maybe) mainly into photography (Here) and related philosophy concerning this, so I'll not demand or expect a deeper account of what I mentioned about determining moving lines in the hexagram. You should know that I belong to those who try to be open to fields normally unaccepted (including the books published by George Hunt Williamson ! if this tells anything) and when I wrote "Complicated" as a comment here above it wasn't meant in the negative way - which came to my mind afterwards that it could easily have been - but that I found it very comprehensive or rather too many aspects assembled at a time.
So, please: if you don't feel fit to explain what I asked for here above just leave it. And thank you also from me for your article.

Its interesting if we view the Yin/Yang symbol.
We have black dot in the white half. If working with visions, could suggesting for example, that one can receive guidance and knowledge(stillness of the black interacting with the white around) in the middle of all the rational I am understanding of Yang all around.
We can be awake and alert and receive guidance on what to do. That is really nice, most of dream books are focusing on this. It can show somewhat limited domain of information, as its not a lot of 'space' there, but it can be reasonably potent and useful.

Yet in the black half there is white dot. Suggesting one can be awake in the middle of the 'dream field'. Some can do it, others can't. There are techniques and we aren't talking about lucid dreaming here, just about allowing the vision/dream to fully expand and instead of controlling its borders waking up in the middle of it. Still in daily life, still with vision, but that vision is not limited by normal boundaries of the Self, it can bring entire worlds with it. Being awake and alert there(the white half) can bring ... Other stuff. More then one can expect to find.

Jung can do it, apparently. Haven't read it, but should be in his 'red book'. Some others can. And can be develop as a skill. Then one can get information in other ways, can read an author and just gather what they are using to see the world...

Anyway, just wanted to say it is interesting direction. Sadly, no time to read it but I checked few pages, some of the Images were very on point, that is rare especially for Tree of Life I think. In any case, interesting direction good luck with it! : )
