I decided to post this question because I don't know what to do when all lines are changing.
Have you guys received 6 lines, apart from transitions of h1-h2 and h2-h1 ?

Also I've this tendency to fully immerse myself into some activity that sometimes leads to over-saturation and loss of interest. There's some of that tiredness of decrypting messages from Yi now, but also after reading D. Cannon every evening for 2 months I feel that it's time to move on to direct intuition.
Almost everyone's SubCons. says to them that they are being supported and loved. And the answers will always be given, if only they would listen. They advise to meditate more, be positive and stop analyzing everything. Just live and trust the universe and intuition to guide them.

I had these thoughts previously, and some of them are posted somewhere on this forum.
In Sherrill's book it was written that Yi is a 3rd wheel, a type of crutch that's not necessary.

5 - 35.png

Now, about the reading:
time for waiting is over, the prince receives many horses (ways to go from there).
and from Wilhelm's image of 35:
Thus the superior man himself brightens his bright virtue.

Interesting that 5's image is clouds rising, and 35's is sun rising.
Clouds are gone, here is clarity. Clarity coming from a superior man himself.

5 does speak of 'Let go, let God'. Being positive and enjoying the moment, yes.
Wilhelm:There is nothing to do but to wait until after the rain falls. It is the same in life when destiny is at work. We should not worry and seek to shape the future by interfering in things before the time is ripe. We should quietly fortify the body with food and drink and the mind with gladness and good cheer. Fate comes when it will, and thus we are ready.

35 expansion of awareness, easy progress, let the mind be tranquil.
Wilhelm:The hexagram represents the sun rising over the earth. It is therefore the symbol of rapid, easy progress, which at the same time means ever widening expansion and clarity.
...
The real nature of man is likewise originally good, but it becomes clouded by contact with earthly things and therefore needs purification before it can shine forth in its native clarity.

Looks like yes to me.

Trying to make a story:
5.1 Waiting for heaven's gift,
48.2 Misusing inner tuition.
39.3 Remembering the ancient clan (spirit guides and other aspects of one's soul),
8.4 Joining with them openly,
45.5 Sacrificing old methods, being closer to the spirit side.
16.6 A warning not to become too excited

All opinions/viewpoints are welcome.

My intuitive understanding of this reading, if I got it myself, would be to take a break from the Yi, and to enjoy said break, and that eventually there will be more meetings, and perhaps you'll meet with the Yi three times in one day, which will benefit you. But my method of interpretation is nowhere near as technical or perhaps well read as yours, but this is what I understand of your reading so I hope it is somewhat helpful! :)

Everyone has a different approach Pearlescent, maybe I'm being too technical about it.
I do appreciate your input :bows:

Maybe it is very simple: Wait for your mind to be tranquill, take a break, and then ride with new horses/energy.

Some thoughts came up about this reading.
The message is:
When you can still your mind in every situation possible (depicted by the lines of h5), even in the middle of the feast of life and when strangers climb through the window of your home;
Then, and only then will you be ready to use the intuition without the help of Yi.

The stilling of mind is mentioned in Legge's and Richmond text:
Richmond:The prince who achieves tranquillity is given many horses.
He is granted audience three times in one day.

The cycle is symbolized by "one day" and its changes by the number three; Here is the progress, and without tranquillity we cannot be part of this; the many horses symbolize that many directions become available at one time when we do not identify in the process of the cycle.

The answers/horses will come when the mind is still(no matter what's happening around) and not choosing/projecting.

Seems like Yi advises the practice of Zen and meditation to widen awareness, and become receptive to universal wisdom.
Well done Yi :)

yi and similar oracles can be a crutch when you give them the power to run your life. Your castingand especially h35 , imo, says that the power is yours, or else its not a crutch but gives you the horses .

Have many times all those years ask the same quwstion mostly overwelmed by too much info. Dont recall any answer pushing to stay or go. Always was about the specific situation made me ask the question in the first place.

If your intuition is telling you to trust it more...
Try and see what happens.

I relate to what you are saying about the crutch potential.
I think of it more like a handrail in a stairwell.
Yeah, the guy with the broken leg uses it but, so do children and the elders. Or maybe like echolocation.

Hey, Tim.

Love those graphic hexagram images, which I believe Luis gets from an IC deck of cards.

As mentioned to you before, I rely a lot upon the trigrams. 5 is sometimes referred to as waiting for the rain to stop. I believe this is incorrect because the rain (water) trigram is above heaven, therefore it has not yet fallen, so 5 is waiting for the rain to fall. This says to me, you have not yet received the abundance of what the Yi has to teach you, in order for you to give your potential gifts, resembling a herd of powerful horses, depicted as the sun rising over the earth in hex 35.

Based on what I have witnessed here, I perceive that you truly are gifted with various psychic insight abilities and potential. I see these potentials as clouds filled with nourishing water. I see the Yi as a vehicle to seed and stimulate those clouds, many clouds represented with many lines, and many potential horses for breeding, that is, gifting others.

@Moss Elk, thanks for the hand-rail analogy. It's more appropriate somehow, it's just another way to go up. One can use the steps, or/also use the handrail. You can't throw it away, you don't need to mount/demount it like 3rd wheel, it's built-in :)

You know I'm starting to get pieces of information in my dreams. Twice it was about the weather.
Just today, in the evening, out of nowhere, big dark clouds appeared on the horizon. It rained hard till midnight [It stopped as I was typing this], accompanied by strong winds. And in a dream I had 2 nights ago I've seen these furious clouds (with a face on them, like a character of some sort) and the rain, while I was inside some shop, waiting for it to end.

Once it was about visiting a particular shop, although in a dream the details are misleading but the essential information is correct. In a dream I went to the shop, to get a job from a cashier( why ?) as a satellite antenna installer. In reality they had wonderful mandarins at a good price, which was a surprise and of course I bought them - and the fresh juice I made from them was amazing.

@Bruce, thanks for the kind words! It's really nice to hear from someone else that I do have psychic connection of some sorts.
The images are cropped versions of the cards, yes.

I did take a step back for a while, talked with Bruce and Tom, re-read some books with a new outlook,
and now I'm ready to use Yi again, but our relationship is not exclusive :)
